Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care is a patient-centred charity delivering specialist palliative care for the whole family in the North West Surrey region. Each year we care for over 2000 patients and their families both in our hospice and in their own homes, where over 80% of our care is delivered, enabling patient choice and the best quality of life.

Our Inpatient Unit is looking for a passionate, dynamic and enthusiastic Nutrition & Procurement Coordinator to join our incredible team.

A successful candidate will:

💜 Be willing to develop their knowledge and skills.
💜 Have experience of caring for patients in a health or social care setting
💜 Have experience in working as part of a team
💜 Experience of palliative care is desirable it is not essential as we can offer support through our training and development programme

Seeing her daughter, Katie (our IPU Manager here at the Hospice), take on the 100k Thames Path Challenge as one of our Palliative Pacers inspired Carol Proctor and her husband, Pete, to take on a walking challenge of their own this year to celebrate Carol turning 60.

They raised a total of £845 which equates to over 32 hours of care for a patient on the Inpatient Unit!
