In Wales, a new project has been launched to help more older adults living at home become physically active. The project, Actif, used Road Worlds for Seniors as a way to kick-start participation and get people moving 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🚴‍♀️

With a total distance of 4,801.3 kilometers, Bernie became the first-ever English world champion in the men’s category 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏆

We’re now halfway through this year’s competition, and it’s been amazing to follow our 7,700 cyclists from all over the world 🌍
Together, they’ve cycled an incredible 159,499 kilometres, and shared countless moments of joy and mastery 🚴‍♀️✨

We’ve now completed the first week of this year’s Road Worlds for Seniors, and what a fantastic week it’s been 🎉

🌍 A new record has been set for the number of teams, cyclists, and participating countries. So far, over 7,300 cyclists across 266 teams from 13 countries are taking part in this year’s competition 🙌

The energy, determination, and joy we’re seeing from participants around the world are truly inspiring, and we’re only just getting started 💪✨
