9 out of 10 of people who are diagnosed are over the age of 55

bladder is the 6th most common cancer in men and the 17th most common cancer in women and the 10th most common cancer worldwide.

There are 16,700 new melanoma skin cancer cases each year in the UK.

Reminder - to check your moles regularly and if something is worrying you or something doesn’t look right get it checked.

Look out for A,B,C,D,E in your moles ( swipe to see photographs explaining what these are )

to reduce the risk of melanoma
* go shaded areas when the sun is out
* wear sun cream all over everyday
* avoid tanning beds
* examine your skin monthly
* see a dermatologist annually for a skin cancer screening.
