🩺 Take Control of Your Health with a Free NHS Health Check – Now Online for Many in Wolverhampton!

A number of GP practices in Wolverhampton are taking part in a new pilot programme, inviting eligible patients aged 40–74 to complete their NHS Health Check online via the NHS App 💻📱

Everyone else will continue to be offered the usual in‑person check, so no one misses out 👍

NHS Health Checks help spot early signs of preventable conditions like:
❤️ Heart disease
🧠 Stroke
🩸 Type 2 diabetes
🧠 Dementia
🩺 Kidney disease

Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said:
“If you’re 40 to 74, keep an eye out for an invitation from your GP to complete your check online via the NHS app. Taking part could help you stay healthier for longer, and doing so online is an easy way to look after your health even if you’re busy, work long hours, or find appointments difficult to attend. If your GP is not taking part in the online pilot, do not worry – you will still be able to get your NHS Health Check face-to-face whenever it is due.”
