🎄Christmas at Maplebrook 🎄

What a truly special day we shared together. Christmas Day was filled with festive cheer as our residents enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch lovingly prepared and served by our wonderful kitchen team 🍽️✨

The afternoon was full of music and laughter as we sang carols and welcomed friends and family to celebrate with us. It was heart-warming to see so many smiles, hugs, and joyful moments shared throughout the day ❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped make Christmas at Maplebrook so magical. These memories will be cherished by all. 🎶🎄

We had an absolutely magical Christmas party here at Maplebrook! 🎶💃 The day was filled with festive cheer as our fantastic singers got everyone in the holiday spirit, and there was plenty of dancing to go around. Smiles, laughter, and Christmas joy were everywhere you looked ♥️

🦄💖 A Very Special Visit at Our Care Home! 💖🦄

We were delighted to welcome two very special guests into our home — the adorable ponies Lolipop and Moomin! 🐴✨ They were beautifully behaved and brought so many smiles, laughs, and moments of joy to our residents.

The residents absolutely loved spending time with them, enjoying gentle strokes, cuddles, and the wonderful sense of calm they brought with them. Visits like this highlight the amazing benefits of pet therapy, which can help boost mood, reduce anxiety, and create meaningful connections. 💕

A huge thank you to Lolipop and Moomin for making today so memorable — we’re already looking forward to the next visit! 🐾💫

🎃👻 Spooky fun at Maplebrook Care Home! 👻🎃

Today we had a fang-tastic Halloween party filled with laughter, costumes, and treats! 🧙‍♀️🕸️ Our wonderful staff and residents got into the spirit, dressing up in their best spooky (and silly!) outfits. A big thank you to our amazing hospitality team for creating some frightfully delicious Halloween desserts — they were a real treat! 🍰🕷️

It was a joy to see everyone smiling, dancing, and celebrating together. 💛

🌸 Goodbye & Good Luck, Jaz! 🌸

On Friday we said a fond farewell to Jaz, our wonderful receptionist here at Maplebrook Care Home. 💐

Jaz has been the smiling face that greets everyone who walks through our doors — residents, families, and staff alike. Her warmth, kindness, and laughter have made Maplebrook an even brighter place. 💛

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re so excited for her as she begins a new chapter in her career. The whole team will miss her dearly, but we know she’ll continue to spread joy wherever she goes.

✨ Diwali Celebrations at Maplebrook! ✨

Last week, our home was filled with colour, laughter, and the delicious aroma of Indian spices as we celebrated Diwali – the Festival of Lights. 🌟

Our wonderful carers Pam, Pam, and Priya, together with our fabulous Hospitality Team, Susan and Kim, treated everyone to a feast of traditional home-cooked Indian dishes. 🍛💛

Residents and staff joined in the celebrations — sharing food and dancing the afternoon away! 💃🕺

💃✨ Music brings magic to Maplebrook ✨💃

We thought that our wonderful resident Lillian deserved her own post! She was up on her feet dancing with our fantastic team during a recent live performance. She especially lit up when hearing songs from her youth — proof of just how powerful music can be in unlocking memories and sparking joy. 🎶💖

Moments like these remind us why music therapy is such an important part of life at Maplebrook. It lifts spirits, encourages movement, and creates connections that go far beyond words. 🌟

A big thank you to the lovely Beth Belle for visiting us and filling our home with music. She treated our residents to a fantastic variety of songs from the 50s and beyond, and it wasn’t long before everyone was clapping, singing along, and even dancing! 💃🕺

It was a joy to see so many smiles and happy faces – music really does bring us all together. 💖

We’re already looking forward to welcoming Beth back again soon! 🎤🌟

💅✨ A little pampering goes a long way!

Our wonderful carer, Megan, went the extra mile today and treated the ladies to a nail session. Not only is Megan a caring member of our team, but she’s also a nail technician – and she brought her talents in to brighten everyone’s day. 🌸
