You don’t notice burnout… until it hits you hard 😫
Today at the university, I saw it happen to someone.
Tears. Exhaustion. No energy left.
Too much work. Lack of sleep. No rest.
And it reminded me — this can happen to anyone.
That’s why I made a conscious choice at the start of my studies — to do things differently.
I simplified my life.
I stopped taking clients because I knew I couldn’t show up for them the way they deserve.
And I kept only what truly matters: my main job, my studies, my kids, and time with my partner.
I protect my sleep.
7–8 hours on weekdays, 9-10 on weekends. No guilt.
I move - regular yoga and gym sessions. I meditate. I eat well,
and I make sure to go for a walk between lectures and at work.
On weekends, I change the scenery, always do something different, break the routine.
It’s not about doing more.
It’s about doing less — but feeling better while doing it.
Is there anything you're willing to let go of to protect your energy and well-being? How do you manage to keep yourself resourceful?
