Attending your screening appointments is one of the simplest ways to look after your long-term health.

It looks for early signs of certain conditions so that treatment — or extra support — can be offered sooner.

Staffordshire Police are running a campaign this December to highlight the work of New Era, please see the link below for more information on how you can get support if you are experiencing domestic abuse.

ℹ️ www.staffordshire.police.uk/news/staffordshire/news/2025/december/change-the-story-this-christmas-as-part-of-our-partnership-campaign-tackling-domestic-abuse

We are working with partners and the local community to tackle domestic abuse as part of our ‘Change the story’ campaign this Christmas.

The campaign, which launches today, sees us work with our partners – including New Era, which offers a range of support for people affected by domestic abuse – to provide help to anyone impacted by this type of crime. This includes their behaviour change service which helps those who wish to change their abusive behaviour.

We know that nationally, this type of abuse increases during the festive period, though we recognise that it affects people on a daily basis, regardless of the time of year.

Women, men and children are all impacted by domestic abuse, which also has wider implications for families and our communities.

See first comment to read more about the campaign.
