~ Tending to our roots ~ Some days I have different treatments booked in and other times there is a theme of one particular treatment which usually always reflects the collective energies. If you follow astrology it is a particularly intense time (that’s putting it lightly) and if you are in tune to energies and frequencies you will be feeling it. Even if you aren’t consciously aware you will not leave an eclipse season the same. Today and tomorrow it’s all Reflexology which indicates to me the energies can leave us feeling ungrounded. Reflexology is one of my favourite modalities for helping us tend to our roots, feel grounded in our body and be with what is. If you haven’t experienced it, it’s wonderful and after 10+ years of practicing I am always amazed at what stories the feet reveal to me. Stay grounded as much as you can, get out into Nature and tend to your roots. Wishing you a peaceful weekend, Omie ☯️

*Saturn Conjunct Neptune (0 deg Aries)

A major chapter begins as certain realities fade and certain fantasies become real.

I wrote a detailed post on this conjunction a few years ago (available in the Saturn/Neptune in Aries collection at the top of my Patreon page).

A brief excerpt:

"Neptune in Aries can be violent new beliefs or passionate illusions. Compassion can be reborn or fanatical delusions can take hold...

But the other side of this coin is the potential to focus (Saturn) on new beliefs, healing or creativity and bring something previously invisible into being. Any sacrifice that occurs should immediately open the door to something new and vital..."

You're building something and it's in the first degree of the first sign - the newborn dream. You'll have to play by new rules. However, Neptune will expand everything that falls within those rules, so you'll have more to work with. Having said this, if it's not meant to be born, it will quickly fade or you'll run into obstacles that shut it down.

To make the most of this, maintain your discipline and maturity. Stay focused on your goals and know this is a long-haul influence - you'll see rewards, but not immediately. Due to Saturn's rulership over timing and mortality, watch for a sense of "the work must happen now." It's not something you can put off although you also can't rush it.

Passion is tempered - this is a new kind of fire.

Out on my walk today collecting some Nettles to make the best tonic for the body after our long Winters. Nettles are full of iron and magnesium which make them perfect for supporting the Blood and therefore also our Qi. To make collect a generous handful of nettles, picking the top leaves. Rinse in cold water and add into a glass jar. Pour over boiling water that’s been left after boiling for a few minutes and add the lid. Leave over night, strain the liquid from the leaves and drink throughout the day or as a warm tea. As we move out of late Winter nettles are the perfect tonic for supporting the Liver and Gallbladder and Blood ☯️🌱Natures medicine 🤍

~ Fire Horse 2026 ~ I’ve been reading so much about the energetics of the year of the Fire Horse and what the dominant energies are on offer to work with. I’ve taken it all in but as always I wanted to check in with myself to see and feel what is true for me and maybe it may resonate for some of you. The Year of Fire Horse reflects the energy of the Summer Solstice; utmost Yang, movement, action, peak growth, Heat. All very apt and reflective however Ive been sensing that this can create a lot of pressure on us for some big changes and action which may be true for many of us but not all of us. To have a full expression of Yang there needs to be rooted, grounded Yin. Fire energy can be incredibly transformative but out of balance it can also be immensely destructive and uncomfortable especially when expressed in the body (I’m thinking LV Fire blazing and even Heart fire). We need to be able to move from a place of being rooted, being grounded in ourselves. I’m no expert on Horses but interestingly I have found myself crossing paths with different horses over the past year which has given me the opportunity to learn from them and this is what they has taught me so far. Horses can move at exceptional speeds; sometimes out of fear, sometimes as a pure expression of Joy and other times because they need to find food, safety, shelter and different spaces to graze. They are herd animals and by nature thrive in community of their herd. They are also protective Mothers and custodians of young. Horses are deeply intuitive animals and can sense how you are feeling, they mirror this back to you. They also have excellent memory capacity. Their movement is influenced by their intuition and discernment. Intuition being something that the system wants us to switch off, dull down and ignore. Yang reflects masculine energy; linear movement, daytime, the Sun. I believe we are moving away from a long time period of power over to one that relies more on us nurturing our intuition and capacity to discern. Intuition I think is something many people have pushed down in fear of being cast out or labelled different in some way. Just look at the forks created in our realities since 2020. I’ve also learnt that when Horses live alone they suffer psychologically and physically but being incredibly resilient they can live alone. However naturally horses live in herds. So what I am sitting with as the Lunar New Year draws closer is that the year of the Fire Horse may be, for some of us, about really listening to our intuition, guiding us when to move and when to ground, guiding us into community that enables us to thrive and in turn find our place, that a full expression of Yang comes from rooted and grounded Yin and that after so much shedding and snake energy in 2025 maybe we are being called to acclimatise to our environments so that our new skins can adapt from rawness into strong hides. However the energies of this year are feeling true for you I hope that it is filled with many blessings and it supports you as you go, confidently and in strength, on your path, Omie ☯️
