⏳ There’s still time to share your views

Are you a carer for a family member or friend? Your experiences are vital and they can help shape how health and social care services support carers.

Black Country Healthcare has joined the Triangle of Care membership scheme, which sets standards to ensure carers are fully included. Your feedback will guide how we improve our support.

📣 The survey is open until Saturday 31 January 2026 - there’s still time to tell us what works and what needs to improve.

We hear it a lot: “I’ll go someday” or “perhaps one day.”

We don’t chase and we don’t pressure. But we do encourage. And we’ll gently remind you that someday or one day could be this Monday.

We’re back this Monday from 7pm–9pm (doors open at 6:45pm) at University of Wolverhampton Science Park, WV10 9RU.

No registration required. Just turn up.

You’ll be met at the door by our team, offered a brew and a biscuit, and made to feel welcome. There’s no charge and there’s no pressure to talk, you can simply sit and listen.

We’re here to support and listen without judgement.

If you’ve never stepped through our door, or if you have but it’s been a while, maybe this is the week.
Maybe the someday you come back, is this Monday.

We’ll meet you at the door.

Families are being invited to pick up free toothbrushes and toothpaste from locations around the city between now and the end of the year. They are being provided as part of a drive by the council and The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust to improve oral hygiene, particularly among youngsters.

Free toothbrushes and toothpaste are available from Central Library, Graiseley Family Hub, WV Active Bilston-Bert Williams, WV Active Central and WV Active Aldersley until the end of December.

Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said: "Tooth decay is the most common oral disease affecting children and young people in England, yet it is largely preventable. We want to give every child the healthy smile they deserve and are delighted to be working with the NHS to make free toothbrushes and toothpaste available to families across the city."
