Regulate & Restore: Somatic Movement for Community Wellbeing
FREE Trauma-Informed Somatic Exercise & Breathwork Sessions

Funded by Sport England and The National Lottery, this project has been created to offer something many people are silently needing — a safe space to slow down, reconnect, and begin to release what’s been held inside.

Because not everything we carry can be talked through.

Trauma, grief, and unprocessed emotions are stored in the body.
Over time, this can show up as anxiety, overwhelm, disconnection, fatigue, or a constant sense of pressure that doesn’t seem to go away.

These sessions are designed to gently support the release of that stored tension — without pressure, without expectation, and in your own time.

Through somatic movement and guided breathwork, you will be guided back into your body in a safe and supportive way, allowing space for regulation, release, and restoration.

This is not about pushing.
This is about allowing.

What to expect:

Trauma-informed, gentle somatic exercises
Guided breathwork
A calm, supportive group environment
Space to reconnect with yourself without needing to explain everything
Who is this for?
Adults (18+) who may be experiencing:

Grief or loss
Anxiety or overwhelm
Depression or low mood
Isolation or emotional heaviness
Or anyone who feels ready to reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.

📍 The Local Hub, Bloxwich

Duration:
2-hour sessions
76 sessions delivered over 38 weeks

You are welcome to attend one session or as many as you feel called to.

What to bring:

Yoga mat

You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come.
You just need to show up.

The relationship we had with our mother and father — or the absence of it — shapes the way we love, trust, receive, lead, and see ourselves.

Unhealed parental wounds can show up as:
• people-pleasing
• fear of abandonment
• struggling with authority
• over-giving or emotional shutdown

Did you know that most people simply don’t know how to talk to someone who is grieving?

And grief is not only about losing a loved one.
It can also be the end of a relationship, losing a job, or going through a big life change.

That’s why I created a two-day Grief Support Training taking place on 13–14 June in Wolverhampton.

This will be a small, intimate, retreat-style training where you’ll learn how to truly support someone who is grieving — while also opening space for your own healing.

It’s especially valuable for anyone who works with people:
nurses, carers, massage therapists, beauty therapists, coaches, or anyone who wants to understand grief on a deeper level.

It’s so interesting how, right before a level up… self-sabotage gets LOUD.

The excuses get creative:
“I’m too tired.”
“The kids will be home soon.”
“I’ll just watch the replay.”
“I’ll do it another time.”

And that was literally me today.

I know I’m close to something big. I can feel it. I’ve worked so hard. I’ve been doing my own healing sessions 5–6 times a week. I am NOT the same woman I was two years ago… not even the same as last year.

But the last few days I felt it — that tiny little gap. Like I just needed a small push forward.

Then I saw a post from a girl I knew as a child back in Hungary. We haven’t seen each other in about 20 years. She’s training as a breathwork facilitator and needed to host a session.

And something in me said, “Book it.”

Even though I host powerful breathwork sessions myself.
Even though I KNOW how life-changing they are.
Even though breathwork was a huge part of my own grief healing journey…

I still tried to talk myself out of it.

But I showed up.

Halfway through I was like, “Oh God, I forgot how intense this is.”
My son came home, started cooking, blasting Green Day at almost full volume in the kitchen 😅

And then one song came on.

And it wasn’t even a memory.
It was a feeling.

A feeling about my past marriage. Not bad. Not heavy. Just… love. Gratitude. A softness. And maybe the realisation that back then I didn’t appreciate what I had as deeply as I would now.

And I broke down.

Not from pain.
From growth.

That was the push.
That was the shift.

And now I feel so aligned. So ready. So excited to hold my own breathwork sessions and all my healing spaces with even deeper presence.

Sometimes the level up isn’t louder strategy.
It’s surrender.
It’s showing up.
It’s breathing through the resistance.

I am so blessed that I get to do this as my full-time work. Supporting people through grief, trauma, emotional healing. It’s not just a job. It’s my calling.

Sometimes the push you need… is just showing up. 🌿💛
