Wickham Market Hedgehog Help I volunteer locally for hedgehogs, give care, urgent first aid, overwinter autumn juveniles & am a 'hogulance' to rescues & vets. I am a 'hedgehog rehabber'.

Whilst we are experiencing some dry weather and out preparing our gardens for the summer, we can use this time to create a small hole/gap in our fence to allow hedgehogs to travel safely garden to garden.

It doesn't need to be big hole, 5' x 5" is the maximum size or the size of a CD.

Hedgehogs can also travel under a fence if you don't want a hole but can leave a gap for them.

Please also remember to leave out shallow dishes of fresh water.

You know its a weekend & the weather's good when you get 3 urgent calls in one afternoon. A hoglet with a horrific fatal injury, another in Framlingham, injured and covered in flystrike and a third found dead on the road. Please consider nature, its not hard to just have a quick check!
