The Nest has been lucky enough to receive a grant from BBC Children in Need this year, and every penny that you donate makes such a difference.

A huge thank you to for an amazing donation of Pumpkins for The Nest. We can’t wait to decorate the barn, and carve them next week. If you are after a great trip out with the children head to Moat Farm, off the A140 north of Ipswich. Open 10-4 tomorrow, and for all of half term!!!!!! 🧡🎃🧡

💛 Sometimes You Just Need to Pause... and Paint It Out 🖌

At The Nest, we understand the importance of taking a moment to pause. Building strong, trusting relationships with our young people means recognising when they need space to express what’s going on inside.

We all struggle to find the right words sometimes—or to say out loud how we’re really feeling. That’s why finding other ways to express emotions—like painting, drawing, or creating—can be so valuable. Art gives us a voice when words fall short, and a way to release what we carry within.

📣🏐 A huge thank you to for raising an incredible £1,500 at their recent PSUK NETFEST!

It was such a fun-filled event, bringing together Police teams from across the UK — playing during the day and celebrating together at night.

We’re so grateful to the Suffolk team for their hard work in organising such a fantastic event, and to all the players for coming together to support our charity. 💛

We’re sending a BIG thank you to the amazing students, staff, and families at Woodbridge Prep School for raising an incredible £600 for The Nest over the past year! 💛

Last year, the prep school chose us as one of their charities of the year, and they’ve been super busy with non-uniform days, musical performances, school services and much more to help with their fundraising.

You are all super stars!

Its my absolute pleasure this evening to announce our first chosen charity for this year...

❤️ The Nest Farms ❤️

A little about what this wonderful local charity do...

The Nest offers alternative provision day placements to our young people across a 12-week term, where they provide a safe space for every individual to understand themselves and the world around them a little better, gaining the tools needed to manage anxiety, stress and depression.

Working on our 12-week psychoeducational programme, participants not only improve their confidence and capabilities but they also gain insights into potential career paths and develop transferable skills that improve their employability. Participants can acquire AQA (formerly the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance) certificates that recognise their achievements in subjects such as cooking and land management, providing a tangible opening for further education and employment opportunities.
