Christmas Eve at Cavell Manor ✨

Our wonderful residents have received their Christmas Eve boxes today, a small gift from all of us, shared with love.

The home has been filled with the sound of carols, the warmth of delicious hot chocolates, and the joy of spending precious time with family, friends, and those who mean so much to us.

What a brilliant festive day! 🎄🎶 Let’s Start Amusement got us up and smiling with classic favourites and Christmas songs galore. The celebrations continued in the afternoon as Seacole Floor hosted their Christmas party, complete with live music from the wonderful Caroline, a festive buffet, mulled wine, dancing, and plenty of laughter. Today we truly let our festive spirits shine! We kicked off the day with a wonderful Cavell Christmas Carol Service, complete with beautiful festive carol sheets and joyful sing-alongs to the music. After raising the roof with our voices, we paused for a refreshing drink to soothe our singing throats, much needed after all that cheer!

Then it was time for our Christmas Afternoon Tea Lunch, which was in full festive swing. Tables were filled with delicious treats, perfectly paired with sherry and prosecco (and soft drinks too, of course!). A day full of music, laughter, and Christmas magic from start to finish

What a truly magical morning! Children from our local school came to visit and filled our home with joy as they sang beautiful Christmas carols and hymns. Our residents loved singing along and soaking up the wonderful festive atmosphere. To make it even more special, the children gifted each resident a handmade bookmark with a personal message, such a thoughtful and heart-warming surprise! Smiles all around.

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a truly festive treat at the Senior Concert at Farlingaye School! They had an amazing time singing along, soaking up the joyful atmosphere, and listening to the talented students perform beautiful carols and instrumental pieces. It was a heart-warming, fun-filled celebration that left everyone smiling and full of Christmas cheer.
