Our residents got stuck in with rehearsing our Christmas carol!

Residents worked as a team and they all came together and sang the carol beautifully. Rosemary G said "i think that we've got this" "it sounds wonderful" 🥹

Our residents agreed that if we just keep practicing when we can it will be a great outcome.

Rosemary and Linda had a wonderful time at the Musical Workshop in Woodbridge 💜

They loved meeting with new people and getting to know them.

They also enjoyed joining in with creating a lovely music piece using loads of different music instruments and singing along to a song.

This was a lovely afternoon and every week is a different session that's why our residents really enjoy going 🥹🎶

We enjoyed getting stuck in and making some bird feeders using pine cones, bird seed, peanut butter and twine ✨

Residents tied some twine onto a pine cone and then they covered the pine cone in peanut butter and bird seed. the residents can't wait to take them outside and hang them out for the birds.

Rosemary G, Pauline M, Linda, and Angela all enjoy making these for the birds and squirrels and they enjoy watching the birds on the them 🐦

Residents had a wonderful day going out on the minibus to the Memory cafe in Woodbridge, listening and dancing to a lovely singer, meeting new people and Betty the pets as therapy dog 🐕

Shirley M, Linda, Rosemary G, Pauline M all had a wonderful time chatting with other residents from different care homes.

Jonathan, Pete and Shirley enjoyed looking around Dobbies at all of the plants and Christmas items - They enjoyed coffee and a slice of cake 😍☕

Residents enjoyed this months Coffee Morning with a twist! ☕

Residents helped to decorate our quiet room and they wanted to combine it with Halloween. Pauline and Sandy said that "this looks very spooky" Joy, Doreen, Rosemary, sandy, Pauline, Shirley, all enjoyed sitting together and enjoying some delicious treats made by our wonderful chef.

Residents enjoyed meeting new people that popped in for a cuppa and they enjoyed meeting us too.

Jonathan loved having his wife & his cousin come and join us too on this lovely day! 😍

Our residents loved meeting Annette & Pauline who enjoyed showing them how to make their very own greetings cards! 🙌🎄

Annette & Pauline helped and supported the residents with how they wanted their greetings cards to look like and if they didn't want to make a greetings card they could just do some sketching.

Pauline and Shirley made a start on make some Christmas cards, looking at several designs and then choosing what one that they wanted to do.

Jonathan also joined in with making some cards but he also enjoyed doing some sketching as he enjoys this very much.

Rosemary and Linda got very creative and they enjoyed using lots of different methods to make these Christmas cards! 😍

Our residents really enjoyed this mornings art & crafts session and are looking forward to the next one that we have.

We all had a wonderful time celebrating our 5th of November afternoon with some fantastic entertainment from Pip with residents tapping their toes, clapping their hands, singing and dancing! 🎶

Followed by some tasty sausage rolls, firework cupcakes & hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. The afternoon went off with a real Bang!!! 😍🎇

Our residents loved having our fortnightly visit from Isla the therapy dog and her owner Ros 🐕

Residents loved sitting with Isla having lots of cuddles with her and also chatting to Ros about how they have been.

Isla was very excited to see all of the residents again its like she has become one of the Woodbridge Lodge family!

Having a therapy dog come and visit us means a lot to our residents, this helps them reminisce about when they used to have dogs.

This can also boost our resident's moods bringing joy and happiness to them 😍

Pauline had a lovely morning surrounded by loved ones celebrating her 92nd birthday with lots of presents and a lovely birthday cake! 🎂

Everyone was very pleased to spend time with Pauline and it was a really special morning.

The room was donned with Halloween decorations from spiders and bats to broomsticks and cats.

Pauline has always loved Halloween, also made extra special by sharing her birthday on the same day. Pauline was known for her extravagant Halloween parties and really used to go to town 🎃💜

Pauline M, Angela, Linda, Shirley, Sandy, Perry, Pete, Joan and Joy all enjoyed carving pumpkins ready for Halloween this coming week! 🎃🤩

They began by drawing their chosen faces onto the pumpkins, then discussed together how they would cut them out.

Joy, Joan and Pete supervised and judged the pumpkins once they were finished.
Residents loved placing a tealight inside and watching them glow while they ate their supper ! 😍
