Yoga Classes, Private Yoga, Workshops, Yoga Retreats - Based in Woodbridge - Suffolk My classes are student centered.
I have been practicing yoga for over 15 years, and teaching for over 9 years. I find yoga a great way to release any stress or tension in the body whilst also calming my mind. Yoga is a comprehensive practice designed to increase flexibility, tone, strengthen the core, soothe the mind and nourish the soul. I believe in allowing each student time to develop in their own way. Variations and modifications are given if needed. I passionately believe and take pride in welcoming all students whether a beginner or an advanced practitioner. I aim to create a welcoming and fun environment for all. I enjoy making sure there are options for those that want to take it easier and also options for those that want to challenge themselves further in their practice. Qualifications

I've been teaching this class regularly for about 13 years now. I still have a few students that joined from the beginning 😮 that is very great they are still enjoying the practice 😊
🌱After digging a few feet and finding nothing, he grew discouraged
🌱He moved 20 feet away, and started again...
🌱He repeated dozens of times, leaving the field full of holes but never finding water.
🪷Sometimes, progress requires digging deep in one place rather than constantly jumping to new styles when the practice becomes difficult.

🩶"Find your edge" means identifying the precise, often uncomfortable, boundary between your current capabilities and your potential for growth, allowing you to push personal, physical, or mental limits without breaking.
🩶It represents a "sweet spot" of maximum effort, balance, and focus, where you are challenged but not overwhelmed.
🩶It is the point in a challenge where you are stretched but still able to remain calm and focused, balancing effort with ease.

A very dynamic and fast paced yoga founded by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore Yoga in India.
When movement (Vinyasa), posture (Asana) and breath are used together, the energy carries the body smoothly and effortlessly. Each Vinyasa is supported either by an inhalation or an exhalation, thus creating a nice flow.
Emphasis is on flow and intensity, and is incredibly exhilarating. While focusing on the breath, muscle contraction and the flow, an incredible heat and sweat is developed that is powerfully toning and invigorating.
Vinyasa Flow
My vinyasa flow class sequences vary each time. We create a focus on breathing and self energy while targeting specific areas of the body. The movements flow and the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath acts as an anchor to the movement as you flow from one pose to the next in time with an inhale or an exhale we can interpret this as a connection between movement and breath.
Gentle Hatha Flow
Take time for yourself to stretch deeply and improve your breathing. Great way to relax and calm your mind and body creating peace. The first part of the class is a gentle flow to include sun salutations and standing postures. The second part of the class will be more focused on gentle stretches that will work more on the connective tissues (tendons, fascia & ligaments) of the body as opposed to using muscle strength – with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It will be slow, gentle and deeply relaxing. You will feel nicely stretched. At the end we have a short pranayama (breathing) practice and mediation to help you feel refreshed and re-energised for the rest of your day.
