Since we set up just short of a year ago, we have grown to offer a wide range of clinical services above and beyond a GP and Nurse.

We now have a physiotherapist, clinical psychologist, dermatologist, medical cosmetic tattoing.

Our objective is to help our patients with a full service offering so they don't have to wait to treatment and medica

We feel we need to give a shoutout to Victoria Felicia, who’s been working closely with us at Deben Private GP to support patients through specialist cosmetic and medical tattooing.

Victoria offers free tattooing for patients with a medical referral, helping those recovering from a range of surgeries and conditions, such as breast cancer. While ni**le and ar**la tattooing following mastectomy is a common example, her work also includes scar camouflage, pigment restoration and advanced paramedical tattooing for other types of reconstructive surgery, burns, skin grafts and more. It’s life-changing support for people who want to feel more like themselves again.

She’s one of only a few artists in the country with a formal contract with LI Pigments, the world’s second-largest pigment brand. In April, she launched her own exclusive line through them, the VF & LI Pigments Ar**la Set, featuring high-quality, animal-free pigments that she designed herself.

Victoria also runs Ostara Wellbeing Clinic & Academy in Woodbridge and brings more than 15 years of experience in permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing. As well as treating patients, she shares her skills with others through in-person masterclasses and online training using her own pigment range.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Virginia “Ginny” Hubbard to the Deben Private GP team, bringing specialist dermatology expertise to our practice.

She’s one of only a handful of consultant dermatologists in the region and will primarily be offering her services to children who can’t access care through the Nuffield, where she also practises.

Ginny has been a fully accredited Consultant Dermatologist since 2004, after qualifying in 1995 and completing her specialist training in dermatology. She spent nearly a decade at Homerton University Hospital in London before relocating to Suffolk in 2013 and expanding her private practice. Today, she divides her time between clinics in Ipswich and London (London Bridge Hospital).

Ginny is also a Senior Lecturer at Barts and The London School of Medicine, where she co-leads the international postgraduate dermatology diploma. So she is the best you can get!!

Her calm, holistic and reassuring approach shines through in patient feedback: she’s praised for being “warm, thorough and compassionate”, offering clear plans and putting patients at ease.

Her broad expertise covers common and complex conditions – from eczema, acne and rosacea to mole checks, minor skin surgery and skin cancer diagnosis. She’s registered with all major insurers and welcomes both insured and self-pay patients.

Having Ginny join us means children in need of dermatology care no longer have to wait or travel – it’s invaluable for families across the region. She really adds another string to our bow here at Deben Private GP.

We’re really pleased to share that Deben Private GP has welcomed Dr Lucy Fitton, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, to the team.

Lucy brings over 10 years’ clinical experience from the NHS, alongside her role as a Clinical Lecturer and researcher. She completed her doctorate at the University of Oxford and is registered with the HCPC and the British Psychological Society.

She’s worked with people of all ages, in hospitals and community settings, and is trained to support a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties – including anxiety, low mood, trauma and burnout. She also carries out assessments, offers evidence-based therapies, and brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to her sessions.

Lucy’s aim is to help people gain a better understanding of themselves so they can live with more clarity, confidence and ease. Her approach is calm, non-judgemental and grounded in real-life change – even when it feels difficult.

By bringing psychology into the Deben Private GP offering, we’re continuing to build a joined-up, whole-person approach to healthcare – something we’ve seen the value of already through services like physiotherapy, where physical recovery and mental wellbeing often go hand in hand.
