Knee pain isn’t random.
There’s always a reason it’s not settling.

For some, it’s wear and tear.
For others, it’s how the joint is being loaded day to day.

Either way — ignoring it rarely fixes it.

If it’s been lingering, get it looked at.

If your pain keeps coming back, it’s rarely random.

Muscle plays a bigger role than most people realise — not just in movement, but in how your body functions and recovers.

If you work in an office, your body is probably doing more work than you realise. Long hours sitting, looking at screens and staying in the same position can lead to tight shoulders, a stiff neck, lower back discomfort and regular headaches.

Massage helps release built-up muscle tension, improve circulation and restore easier movement. It can also help you feel more relaxed and less fatigued, which often makes a noticeable difference to how you feel both at work and at home.

Booking a massage isn’t just about relaxation. It’s a simple way to look after your body, prevent everyday aches from becoming ongoing problems, and support better posture and comfort through the working week.

Come and see our Chronic Pain specliast Teri.

If you feel like you've tried everything for your chronic pain, come and see our Osteopath Teri.

Here's why you need to consider seeing an Osteopath for chronic pain:
Osteopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare that can be effective in treating chronic pain. Osteopaths focus on identifying and addressing the underlying causes of pain, rather than simply treating the symptoms. Osteopathic treatment typically involves manual techniques such as gentle joint manipulation, acupuncture, massage and stretching to help reduce tension and improve mobility in the affected areas.

Acupuncture and especially electro-acupuncture, works extremely well in dealing with chronic pain.

Nerve cells have to reach a threshold before they fire off. For example, a sensory nerve has a very low threshold so that we can easily feel things. Pain nerves have a much higher threshold otherwise we would be in pain with daily activities. When we have chronic pain the threshold for the pain nerve has been lowered and the aim is to raise this threshold to a more functional state.

We will also take into account your overall health and lifestyle, providing advice on nutrition, exercise and stress management to support your body’s natural healing processes. By taking a whole-person approach, osteopathy aims to help individuals with chronic pain achieve greater comfort, mobility and overall well-being.

Paediatric Osteopathy is a specialism of Osteopathy that uses incredibly gentle techniques specifically for treating babies.

Each technique used is specific to the baby and is individual to them. The methods used for babies are very gentle, but nonetheless powerful, requiring specialist skill and knowledge.

It takes a minimum of six years to become a Paediatric Osteopath.

These techniques are safe, gentle, and non-manipulative. They are often used when treating young children and newborn infants. Very gentle osteopathic techniques can help to release and balance areas of physical tension, helping to soothe and relax as well as promoting freer movement where the muscles have been tight.

There’s no minimum age for a baby or child to visit the Osteopath. Michele has helped babies from as little as five days old.
