🌿 What is Clinical Triage (Anima)?
🖥️ How it works:
Instead of booking directly with a GP, you’ll now complete a short online form on Anima explaining why you’re contacting the practice.
A clinician will review your request and decide the most appropriate next step based on your needs.
Depending on your situation, you may be offered:
1️⃣ An on-the-day appointment (face-to-face or by phone)
2️⃣ A non-urgent appointment with a suitable clinician — such as a GP, Advanced Care Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health Practitioner, Practice Nurse, or First Contact Physiotherapist
3️⃣ A referral to another service, e.g. Pharmacy, Acute Respiratory Hub, or Extended Access Clinics
📞 Our telephone lines and reception desk remain open as usual. If you call or visit, our reception team will kindly ask you to complete the same online form — or help you fill it in if you’re unable to do so yourself.
💬 No matter how you contact us — online, by phone, or in person — all requests go into the same triage queue, ensuring fairness and timely care for everyone.
🩺 Non-clinical queries and routine nursing appointments can still be booked in the usual way.
