Restoring Routine, Choice & Confidence

A client in her seventies began to lose confidence in her daily routine, our team took a truly person-centred approach, balancing safety with independence and supporting her to continue accessing the activities and places that mattered most to her.

Because great care isn’t just about support, it is about protecting choice, dignity and quality of life. 💙

At 92 years old, J wanted to continue living safely and independently in her own home but something deeply personal was missing: the simple ability to have a proper shower again.

Traditional solutions like a downstairs wet room weren’t right for her, so the Trinity Bristol team thought creatively and looked beyond the usual options to find a solution that truly mattered to J.

After researching local resources and completing a full risk assessment, her care team arranged for supported visits to a local accessible shower facility, empowering J to regain a sense of dignity and well-being she hadn’t experienced in years.

Her mood lifted, confidence grew, and even her overall health improved!

✨ A very special day at Tapestry Day Club - Dementia support ✨

Yesterday we spent the most wonderful day with Sharon and the members at one of the Tapestry Day Clubs – and what a beautiful concept it is.

Small, welcoming and based in real homes within local communities, these clubs feel more like spending the day with family than attending a service. From painting and games to a delicious home-cooked lunch, everything was filled with laughter, dignity and genuine connection 💚

At Trinity Homecare we’re passionate about helping people stay connected to their communities and live well – which is why working alongside organisations like Tapestry feels so special. Our values align so naturally around companionship, independence and person-centred support.

🌿 There are currently spaces available at clubs in:
, , , , , and .

If a loved one would benefit from friendship, structure and a joyful day in a safe, homely setting, these are well worth exploring.

Thank you Sharon for such a warm welcome – we can’t wait to keep building this lovely relationship.
