It’s been a great day here we spent the morning keeping busy in the garden, enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.
This afternoon was all about chocolate nest cakes, and we wrapped things up with a well‑earned ice cream to finish the day.
Simple pleasures, good company, and plenty of smiles. 🌞 🍦 🐝

We were thrilled to host our very first Community Café this morning. With live music from Ruby Red, friendly games, and a fun quiz, it was the perfect setting to share a cup of tea and welcome new faces into our community.
The turnout was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many people chatting, laughing, and building new connections. Events like this truly help promote wellbeing and strengthen our sense of belonging.
Thank you to everyone who joined us — you made it a memorable start, and we can’t wait for the next one.

We’re excited to welcome you back on Tuesday 5th May for a special Sip and Paint session — a relaxed morning of creativity, conversation, and of course, a good cup of tea.

🌟 What a Fabulous Morning! 🌟

We had an amazing time hosting our very first Easter Character Breakfast, and it truly brought a sprinkle of Easter magic to everyone’s day. 🐣

Our special guests — the Easter Bunny and Alice — delighted residents with warm greetings, fun interactions and plenty of photo moments. 🍭

The smiles, laughter and joyful atmosphere made it a morning to remember, and the perfect way to continue our Easter celebrations. 🎉

We’re really pleased to share that The Mill House Care Home can now welcome residents into our newly completed Garden Rooms, following registration from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

These purpose-designed rooms have been created to support people living with dementia, offering a calm, comfortable environment with private patio access so residents can safely enjoy fresh air and natural light.

As one of only four care homes in the UK to hold the National Dementia Care Accreditation Scheme (NaDCAS) Three Star Platinum Award, we’re proud to continue supporting families across Worcestershire with specialist, person-centred care.

🌼 Easter Weekend Fun Has Begun! 🌼

We started the day with morning exercises, followed by plenty of Easter games to get everyone smiling. And if that wasn’t enough eggcitement, our residents got creative, designing their very own Easter bonnets ready for Sunday’s big parade.

💐 We also had a very special moment today as one of our residents celebrated his wedding anniversary with a lovely lunch. 💐

🐣 Only two days to go until our Easter Character Breakfast — and we’re expecting a very special visitor to join us. Fingers crossed for a bit of sunshine to make the weekend even brighter!

We’ve had a busy morning in Gardening Club everyone has been hard at work sowing our tomato seeds.
It’s always exciting to start something new and watch it grow, and we can’t wait to see how our plants develop over the next few weeks.
