& what a beautiful day in our new Shala in Malvern

The sun shone on us all , all day ! ☀️

The space was literally alive with energy, laughter, and connection filled with the most wonderful souls!

How blessed I feel for the opportunity to be around you all !! Truly from my heart thank to everyone's love , beautiful energy of love and support for this epic new journey into this beautiful new beginning and creation. ☀️✨🫶

The Awakening Heart and Health class was a journey of connection back to our hearts wisdom, through kundalini kriya , breath , meditation and deep presence opening the heart, balancing the body, and uplifting ourselves!

Thank you to everyone who joined and brought your light into the room , it was truly felt ! 🌿

Some days I feel so alive! And so grounded !

walking with my dog, breathing in the fresh air on these beautiful autumn mornings 🍂

feeling my feet in the earth and then, just like that, life throws something at me that stirs up my fire!

Anger. Frustration. That familiar spark that says ......

This isn’t okay!!

For a long time, I used to push that away try to stay calm, put on a brave face and cover ALL emotion!! Stay positive Emily !! Or there will be consequences!

But the truth is ( to me anyway now ) being human means feeling everything!

The beauty and the mess. The peace and the rage.

Behind every calm and peaceful moment, there are challenges that ask us to choose ourselves again and again!

And just because we feel anger ! It doesn't mean there is something wrong ! Quite the opposite if we shift our perspective!

We get to stand in our truth. To honour our fire 🔥 and it's messages and to make change !

To remember that even anger, when met with awareness, can be a deep truth that we feel , that helps guide us back to our power, our boundaries & our voice!

Because it’s all part of the practice 🔥🌿

How special this is going to be !!

A place that truly feels like home 🫶✨🌙

This deeply relaxing and restorative extended class is an integrated practice from the Himalayan integrated practice of Sattva yoga.

The journey will blend together longer held Hatha yoga postures with soothing pranayama, and meditation techniques to gently slow us down and release tension in the body and mind.

A practice crucial for balance and harmony of the body and a necessity to conquer the busy mind to access deep peace our natural state of being and clarity of thoughts.

This is a FULL permission slip to yourself to pause and decrease stress, worry & any anxiety to restore balance and harmony in our entire being.

We will close with a deeply soothing crystal bowl sound journey, inviting rest, nervous system recalibration and rejuvenation, and deep inner stillness to bring us back to our natural state of peace.

This is not one to miss !

We all need this time for peace and for stillness.

To take a break & to rest. To feel freedom for a while from the busyness of life and the modern world to gain clarity again. A time to reset ! 🫶

Reflection and celebration for last night's 1st of The Stillness Sessions ✨

This morning I have had a walk in nature 🍄‍🟫 and what a morning it is today !! Nature teaching us to flow with life , to allow all to be just as it is 🍂 to let go of control and to allow all to JUST BE

and what a beautiful evening of calm, rest and clarity we had last night

The Stillness Session offered a chance to slow down, to begin to see things more clearly as we accessed states of shunya ( stillenss )

We breathed deeply, and returned to our truth ! To our peace 🫶 The stillness sessions are a journey through longer held Hatha postures, Pranayama, Meditation, and a deeply relaxing Crystal Bowl Sound Journey savasana.

The space was filled with peace, presence, and heart and was a true reminder of the power of pausing!!

The power of truly just BEING !

Thank you to everyone who joined this first session, it was truly gorgeous!!

The next stillenss session will take place in our new Shala in Malvern 🌸

A fresh space to rest, reconnect, and awaken together.

✨ The moment has arrived and the New home of Emshanti yoga is born ✨

We have officially picked up the keys to our beautiful new space Awaken Yoga & Wellness Shala in the heart of beautiful and magical Malvern 🗝️🌙🧘🏼‍♀️

What began as a vision shared between two friends to create a sanctuary of peace, connection, and awakening is now becoming a reality.

A dream to create something both our daughters can be proud of us with. A place and a community they can grow up in and be surrounded with love and support.

As we stepped into the space for the first time, it felt alive with the whispers of all the moments, breaths, and transformations yet to come.

This shala will be more than walls and a roof it will be a home.

A place for people to gather, to move, and for us to remember who we truly are.

Yoga is so much more than a pose and we can’t wait to bring that to life for you all.

Our first class begins 6th November, and we cannot wait to welcome you home to Awaken.

Following my post this morning, I wanted to reflect after having and making some time for myself to fully feel into the mornings challenges

After a really difficult morning being fully on my bleed, trying to be the perfect mumma from 3am In the morning! And that not going to plan !!

She was picked up for nursery, after we had chatted that mummy was tired , irritable because she was on her woman's cycle 🩸 and that I was finding the hard emotions difficult, but that it was NOT her fault in anyway , that mummy was just experiencing hard emotions and we had a massive cuddle! ❤️

Once she left for nursery and I was alone i sat with cacao and myself. My heart expanded open to my mum with deep compassion and understanding for everything she went through to support me and my sister when we were young , and how hard it must have been and how amazing she is with all she went through ❤️

I found myself sitting and actually being and feeling fully proud of my journey through the tears and my awareness , and being proud of who I am ( unfamiliar territory for most of my life)
and how I have handled this morning's challenge without expressing anger onto myself which was my old coping mechanism because I didn't love who I was and didn't think I was worthy of being loved

Through the journey of Kundalini Yoga, meditation therapy, and being in nature 🌿 these life changing practises that have helped me build my self love and worth makes years of resilience and never giving up worth every second !!!

The Journey of kundalini yoga can truly change your life and although I am far from perfect and am not seeking to be, and which non of us are! I'm so proud of who I am now, from who I was ! and always knowing deep within me. That this self now was always there.

A self who still experiences anger, frustrations but has learnt deep lessons into loving who I am because of this!

Yes!!!!!!

Vulnerable post because I think it's important as you NEVER know the whole story when we see posts about everyone seemingly having their sh*t together ( even me !)

I don't have my sh*t together ( although there are definitely more good days than bad now after my own personal journey into healing ) and I am on that rollercoaster just like everyone else!

( this was not easy for me to post ) but I do think it's important to show life is not always the positive emotions we try so desperately try to cling onto!

And that we ALL have if we allow it! a full spectrum of emotions, which are designed to be heard!

This morning as a single mumma has been so hard for me being up since 3am with my daughter! And on the heaviest part of my bleed 🩸

This is the rawness and the realness of motherhood when you are on your own and it is HARD!

I just wanted to show this to show this is real, a real part of life that shouldn't be hidden but should be shared to show that there is nothing wrong with you when you feel this way !

That you are normal, and fully human with issues and traumas like everybody else in this world.

Just keep being you!

Don't hide realness !

and continue the journey into acceptance and eventually loving all aspects of who you are!

Yoga helps you so deeply to understand this , and helps you to be vulnerable as you show up in life , which is such strength beautiful people

Never forget how strong it is to be vulnerable and to be

FULLY who you are ❤️

I truly believe after experiences and synchronicities happening to me recently one of them being this beautiful butterfly 🦋 on this gorgeous morning ☀️ that the things that come into fruition, the things that manifest, including material stuff and wishes , as well as what we are all truly seeking , peace and deep self acceptable are all things that happen in the moment when I am fully present.

That the conditioned mind and our thought processes have EVERYTHING to answer for! 

But how do we stay there !! 

We become the very master my friends of our own minds !!

We practice and come back a million times over !!

AND we live FULLY the truth of who we are! 🔥

When we begin to truly undo and unknow everything we think we know and we move into becoming no one which is exactly who we are.

When we are so present that we are no one. We are no identity. We are no labels. We are no conditioning. We are no limitations 

When our practise over the years bring us to these types of realisations. This is where we truly bring real , radical and a compelete change in the mind! 

Powerful stuff! and very achievable through kundalini yoga ✨

If this is anything for you today, this is a reminder to keep practising , meditating and being FULLY you , trust the process!

keep coming back home, Keep living your truth,  keep showing up for yourself, trusting in the divine process of consciousness. 

It's alllllll a journey beautiful people and it's a beautiful one to commit yourself too ❤️

Opening up to ALL of life !! 🌎 ❤️
