🐈‍⬛ I consulted my cats today 🐈

This week my dreams were seen from the eye line of a cat. At first I could work out how I could have the perspective I did in this dream, I half woke up to work it out. Then went back in. I was looking at someone one, possibly a man, from the perspective of a cat sat purring on their chest. I didn’t ‘see’ them in the way humans do. I just felt their energy. I think it was very dark. That one wins the 🏆 for most unusual dream perspective this year.

So for today the cats say do not spend time and energy worrying and overthinking what needs to be done today. Listen to your inner wisdom, your intuition. You have scars to take care of. Nurture them any way that feels positive and beneficial to you. 🫶🏼✨

Also, in astrological news, the moon is being BESIEGED at the moment by malefic planets (Pluto, Mars, Saturn) meaning that especially for the divine feminine aspects of ourselves I feel, there are successive challenges. These around transformation (collective transformation within the feminine well overdue, fab), how the feminine moves in terms of desire, taking action and expressing anger (finally standing up for ourselves and doing what we want yay! It’s very cat), and learning our karmic lessons, getting our just desserts and becoming wiser over time. I think of that as the next threshold, the new books for this term, the new challenges, if we have passed the last module. Otherwise it’s resits witches! 🧙🏼

The gods and goddesses we worship want us to live a rich and fulfilling life. Specifically they want us to use the bodies we have with all their senses, our minds, our voices, our ability to create in a material world. They don’t have this privilege. They don’t have the benefit of mortality to shape the senses.

What is imagination and remains in imagination will become real one way or another. Our thoughts are not isolated to us, they become part of the collective energy. If you are not ready to make something real or you think it should not become real, please don’t think it. At least not more than once. Another will feel it and perhaps make your private monster a reality. They have more courage than you, or less, they think to lose.

It’s the same with truth. If you are feeding someone beautiful lies and they are unfortunate enough to believe them, stop. Someone else will come in and fulfil those dreams for the person you were trying to trap with a fantasy. Then you are alone. Only promise what you are willing to deliver.

If you have been a frequent believer of lies, it is time to stop. Does what is being manifest in the world reflect what you are being promised, and what you are telling yourself through your fantasy? This is about a dynamic with another person or people. That fantasy of yours, those lies they are telling you are being lived out by someone else who is/are willing to step physically into what you have created in the non-physical. If you resent them for it, it is because you are not willing to see the truth. You would rather believe in a lie because you are attached to the one who is telling it.

Love 💕

I was not raised in a culture of saying “I love you”. Neither was I raised to a romantic or whimsical mindset. My upbringing was pragmatic and practical.

The flamboyance of love, the soft flavour of romance and the comfort of whimsy came from within me. Wherever my soul came from, it brought this along into this body.

One of my resolves this year has been to say I love you, even (possibly especially) to those in my life who do not do this, starting with my family. I’m here for the awkward silences or giggles. I am not embarrassed by the reality and magnitude of my love for people.

I learned about love languages when I was quite young. Part of my self education. My strongest languages are not the same as my mother’s, for example. The great thing about languages is that we can learn them, even if we do not default to them. It takes a little observation and de-centring of self in the moment.

Many people are chronically low on loving affirmation. Words of affirmation are the love language of many. What is more affirming than hearing you are loved?

“I’m sorry I’m so disgusting”

Me having been ordered by my pure Catholic friend to “straddle the cannon”.

I don’t know how I was born to my parents. I think I am the result of generations of suppressed uproar and creative chaos. I will say that over the years I’ve learned to embrace everything (everyone?) that I am and channel it for good.

People are sometimes offended and angry at how comfortable I am in myself. They think they don’t like me, but actually they don’t like the feeling that there’s a part of themselves they have suppressed or left neglected. I’m here to say even if you hate me, if that reaction helps you to discover more of yourself then I’ll take it. I will keep growing and expanding and you will be hard pushed to resist that process yourself after you have brushed up against my joyful, kind and loving abandonment into life.

An accidental tribute to Dame Jilly Cooper whose books I have not read, but who certainly embodied aspects of herself others could only allow themselves to experience through her storytelling. Rest in riotous joy.

❣️🖤The Descent🖤❣️

It’s time to go down. The spring and summer of rising and shining and action and adventure is over. I wanted him to take my hand but now the time is up and Hades reaches from beyond the grave, and waits as I gaze nostalgically back into the drink that was summer.

Mother is bustling to get all the decorations down, it’s all very seasonal. Typically she has momentarily forgotten my imminent departure, and I prefer to slip away unnoticed.

“Did you find him?” Soft as an autumn breeze his voice drifts up from the beyond. “did he take your hand beloved?? Is that why you keep me waiting?” He is teasing. We have played this game for years. Separated by the seasons in body though not in spirit, he knows everything, he doesn’t need to ask.

Who is the mortal man who can withstand the love of a goddess? Who will love me in the light? They are drawn to me, they hover close, they bask in my warmth and sensual richness. But not one of them will take my hand.

The world of men is not what it was. I will taste those seeds again and stay wrapped in the shadow until spring. 🖤🩶🤍
