Happy Pancake Day!
Also known as Shrove Tuesday, today is all about enjoying your favourite pancakes. Whether you love them stacked high with syrup and berries, drizzled in chocolate, or kept classic with lemon and sugar.
But while you’re treating your taste buds, don’t forget to look after your smile too.
Sugary toppings can increase the risk of tooth decay, so here are a few simple tips to keep your teeth healthy:
Enjoy sweet toppings in moderation.
Drink water after eating to help rinse away sugars.
Wait 30–60 minutes before brushing (especially after sugary or acidic foods)
Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste.
Don’t forget to floss!
