📦Package work opportunities 📦

Would you like to support those in need but be based in one place for your whole shift? Want to gain real life skills in providing clinical and complex care? Have a passion for learning and helping others?

Then look no further - Alcedo Care is the place for you!

Currently we have vacancies available within one of our packages in the west Cumbria area supporting a lady with MND in her own home. You will gain valuable skills and support her with all aspects of care including

🌟 Tracheostomy care
🌟 Ventilation management
🌟 Oral suction
🌟 MND
🌟 Non verbal communication support
🌟 Oxygen monitoring and management
🌟 Mental health support and emotional reassurance

Previous experience in the care sector is essential for this role but previous experience in dealing with MND or tracheostomy is not essential as full training both theory and practical will be provided by our in-house nurses.

Shifts will cover full 12 hour days and waking nights, walkers may apply as this role is based in one place, if you are interested in community care with our younger clients please see our other adverts or call us.

Alcedo Care provides compassionate and supportive home care, even in the most challenging circumstances. Judith started with us on end-of-life care and she now requires social calls. Ellie, her carer, supports her with daily living activities, going out and about in the community and together they visit Judith’s husband in the care home. They also have a tradition of having a cuppa after a productive day out and having a chat.
