March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month.

Brain tumours are the leading cause of cancer death in children and adults under 40, yet research and awareness remain severely underfunded.

It's vital to know the symptoms, which can vary depending on where the tumour is located. Key signs to watch out for include:

* Persistent or changing headaches
* Changes in personality or behaviour
* Problems with thinking, reasoning, or memory
* Seizures (fits)

If you or a loved one are experiencing these symptoms, please see a GP immediately. While they can be caused by other conditions, early diagnosis is critical.

If you have been affected by a brain tumour diagnosis, specialised support is available. We stand with organisations like Macmillan Cancer Support to ensure everyone has access to the help they need.
