We are delighted to share the fantastic outcome of our recent CQC inspection, which took place on Friday 13th March.

The report was overwhelmingly positive, and we couldn’t be prouder of the standards we continue to uphold here at Nook Street Dental Practice.

This would not have been possible without our incredible team. A huge thank you to all our staff for their hard work, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to providing the highest level of care to our patients every day.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to our patients for their continued trust and for sharing such valuable feedback, as well as to the CQC for their thorough review and recognition of our efforts.

We remain committed to delivering excellent care and continuously improving our services for our community.

We wish all our patients at Nook Street Dental Practice a Happy Easter.

We are closed across the bank holiday weekend but as always our out of hours on-call rota is in operation.

Good Friday and Saturday will be covered by Fitz Park Dental Practice in Keswick, please call 01768773020 for assistance on these days.

Easter Sunday and Monday will be covered by Kerry Park Dental Practice in Workington, please call 07960753079 for assistance on these days.

It’s come to our attention that some of our appointment reminders are not being received by patients using the O2 mobile network. There appears to be a phone mast in the local area that is currently being repaired which we believe is the cause of the problem.

We are hoping for a fix soon but please check your booked appointment dates and times to ensure appointments are not missed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Yesterday the team had a fantastic team building day at Carlisle Race Course put on by the Practice Plan Team.
The thoroughly entertaining and engaging Dave Keeling from Laughology, shared his experience and insights on The Happiness Effect and the Growth Mindset, setting out clear skills on turning challenges into positives and giving tips that can be used in both personal and work settings. Lots of laughs were had by all with some great contributions made by the teams.

Please be aware that the road outside of the practice will be closed from 13/01/26 to 15/01/26 between the hours of 08.00 and 18.00 for Telecoms works.

This will affect the ability to park outside of the practice or use Nook Street as an access road so please leave yourself plenty of time if attending the practice on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday next week.

There are a number of pay and display car parks in the area, alternatively on-street disc parking will apply on neighbouring streets the same as Nook Street outside of the practice.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and hope it causes as little disruption as possible.

Our wonderful team here at Nook Street Dental Practice have been busy fundraising for the Breast clinic/Henderson Suite with over £2500 raised so far. 💰
Cath our practice manager successfully completed a daily squat challenge 🏃🏼‍♀️, Amy F one of our nurses completed a sky dive 🪂 and the whole team got their bakers hats on for a cake sale in the practice 🧁. This is just so far with more challenges and events planned throughout the year.
The Breast Clinic/Henderson suite and what they do has become particularly poignant for the practice over the past year with one of our stars (Amy H) undergoing treatment for breast cancer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
We are so thankful for the work they do and for helping our Amy back to health.
We are so proud of you Amy and well done to all of the team with your efforts!
We’ll keep everyone posted of future endeavours. 🏅

We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr Aimie Seaton to the team at Belvedere Dental Practice and as a result are now accepting new patient bookings to Aimie’s list.

Dr. Aimie Seaton has joined us after relocating from Essex. Aimie qualified with a BChD from Leeds University, graduating with distinction in 2014. She went on to complete a Diploma in Primary Dental Care from the University of Kent in 2016. Since then, she has worked in both private and NHS practice across Essex, continually advancing her skills to deliver the very best care and treatment for patients.

Aimie is passionate about all aspects of general and restorative dentistry, particularly root canal treatments. This interest led her to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Chester in 2024. This qualification has enabled her to accept internal referrals for root canal treatments and re-treatment cases.

She is dedicated to creating a comfortable environment for all her patients, including families and those who experience dental anxiety, helping them overcome their fears and regain confidence.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Aimie is a mum to her energetic 3-year-old son and an aunt to nine nieces and nephews! She values quality time with her family and enjoys painting, hiking, and outdoor swimming. She is excited to explore all that the beautiful Lake District has to offer!
