As temperatures drop, it’s worth taking a few extra steps to stay warm and comfortable at home, especially for older or more vulnerable loved ones. 💙

🚪 Keep rooms heated and doors closed
🧣 Layer clothing rather than relying on one thick layer
☕ Enjoy regular hot drinks and warm meals
🛏️ Use blankets and throws in the evenings
📞 Check in regularly... a quick call can make a big difference

Small changes can help keep everyone warm, safe, and feeling looked after during the cold winter days. 🥰

💜 We’re still looking for Bellcare Buddy volunteers 💜

☕️ Do you have an hour or two to spare for a cuppa and a chat? Our Bellcare Buddies initiative is still welcoming volunteers to spend some time with service users who would love a bit of extra company between care visits.

Bellcare will carry out DBS checks at no cost, and all you need to bring is a friendly face and a listening ear.

We are looking to bring 4 people together who will be alone on Christmas day to join us for a complimentary 3 course meal from us 🎄

We have a special community table for someone alone to join us this festive season.

Everyone deserves to celebrate Christmas, so please help us find those alone or less fortunate.

We would love to make their Christmas as special as they are

A look back at our very first Bellcare Bites! 🍰☕️

What a lovely day it was - full of smiles, chatter, and plenty of good food!

Our service users spent time with a member of the Bellcare carers team, enjoying treats, sharing stories, and simply having a nice, relaxed afternoon. It was wonderful to see everyone laughing, connecting, and making the most of the time together.

It was such a special start to the Bellcare Bites series... we can’t wait for the next one! 💜
