-What does cupping therapy do?

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. James, saying thankyou for all the lovely well wishes. 🥰🥰 He's been in a lot of pain and had to have his plaster cast cut away from the front of his foot this morning as the swelling was causing a problem. Hopefully a little more comfortable now 👍👍👍

We can't thank you all enough for James's well wishes. I'm happy to tell you that the OP went well. Unfortunately the surgeon only had time to do one leg as it was so complex. His knee was moved into the correct place. Bone from the upper was taken away and placed below his knee. His ankle has been fused into the correct position and his heel which, in the surgeons words 'was all over the place' has been turn so his foot will now be in the correct position. He has a cast on from just above his knee and a brace to hold it all in position. It'll remain there for 4 weeks or so. He is in a lot of pain, been sick, had a temperature but all to be expected. He has still got a good appetite!
Next Tuesday or Wednesday he will go through it all again on the other leg.
The staff here at Newcastle are amazing. They all love James already. How could they not? He's the bravest person I know. Onwards and upwards now, and building up his muscles again will be the next challenge. Hope you're ready Ryan?
