Operation Oasis we have given out over £220,000 and given out over 33,000 food boxes & toiletries.

Operation Oasis is the practical response of the OASIS Community Centre and Churches in Worksop & Retford during COVID and since with the energy and cost of living crisis.

Thanks to everyone who came down to our OASIS CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE over the last two nights. It was a lovely event and great to see so many local families visiting us. Thanks to all the volunteers who came to support the events.

Countdown to our special events on Friday and Saturday this week. Come and meet the Characters of the Christmas season. Lots happening, games and crafts for kids, prizes, food, hot and cold, sweet cart, jams and chutneys, cakes and pastries. A special hunt for the treasures around the lit up gardens and a special gift from Father and mother Christmas in their Winter Oasis cabin. Come and have some fin and ,are some magic moment. It’s almost here. Oasis in Worksop is putting on a 2 evening Special where the gardens and centre will be open, the gardens lit up and a Christmas Treasure trail will be there for all children and families to enjoy. They visit the elves and see Santa for a gift box. Lots of other things will be available, hot and cold food; craft stalls; festive arts and crafts for kids; games and fun; a prize every time children’s tombola; giant nativity; sweet cart; all sorts of fun things for all ages to do. Christmas is on its way to Oasis Community Centre and Gardens. Festivities begin on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th December from. 5pm to 8pm with our annual Christmas Festival Adventure nights for all the family. Children can take the Santa’s Treasures trail challenge and find Santa’s treasures; visit the Elves, take the Winter Wonderland walk and visit Santa’s cabin and see if he is home! Festive food items, Craft stalls, family fun stalls, prize every time tombola and much more! Come and visit us and join in the Adventure!

OPERATION OASIS - Community action putting a smile on Bassetlaw faces.

OASIS Community Centre have been doing various activities and giving out many things to local people in need, people who are locked in and isolated and people who are serving the community in different ways in Bassetlaw area during the Corona virus crisis period.
