To my wonderful clients,
I wanted to share a small change I’ll be making to appointments, and more importantly, why.
As many of you know, I work from home and run my massage practice on my own.
Every treatment is prepared with care - from fresh linens and oils to creating a warm, calm space ready just for you. In the colder months especially, the room is heated ahead of time so you arrive to comfort and relaxation.
When appointments are cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours, it’s often too late for another client to take that space.
Because I set aside that time just for you - and have usually already made preparations - last-minute changes can have quite a big impact on a small, one-person business like mine.
For that reason, I’ll now be introducing a small booking fee to secure appointments. This will be deducted from the cost of your treatment on the day - it simply helps protect the time reserved especially for you.
Please know this isn’t about being strict or impersonal. I truly understand that life happens, and I will always approach genuine emergencies with care and flexibility.
This change simply helps me continue doing the work I love in a sustainable way.
