For International Waffle Day we created and decorated waffles. We all enjoyed weighing, measuring and mixing the ingredients, getting creative with the decorations and then eating our creations!

A huge thank you to Memorable Weddings & Events for our beautiful balloon Easter bunnies to start off our Easter celebrations.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our Easter Family Fun Day on the 4th of April between 12-4pm! Everyone is welcome!

For St Patrick's Day the people who live with us enjoyed an Irish special movement to music in the morning followed by an Irish themed booze and tattoos afternoon. We watched a couple of videos of why and how St Patrick's is celebrated around the world and had a sing along to some of our favourite songs.

Over the weekend we celebrated Mother's Day at Gateford Hill.

Sunday morning every lady living with us received a pot of daffodils from the lifestyle team and in the afternoon families were invited to join their mums for a delicious afternoon tea prepared and served by the lifestyle team. We also received a lovely treat from a family of a gentleman who has come to live with us.

The people who live with us enjoyed a visit from Bowen, the son of one of our carers. Everyone had great fun trying their hand at a selection of games and puzzles, and two of our gentleman built a Lego aeroplane and helicopter for Bowen!

The people who live with us enjoyed getting together for Baking Club and making cheesecakes. Everyone helped weighing the ingredients, mixing and decorating and later in the day, sampling the results of their hard work!

There was plenty of fun, laughter and memories about baking and favourite cakes. A lovely way to spend the morning.

This week the people who live with us have had a very musical week. Wednesday, performing arts graduate Jade, treated us to a selection of musical theatre songs, and Thursday we enjoyed an afternoon of ABBA songs courtesy of Holly Austin!

Some of the gentleman who live with us enjoyed a trip to Bolsover Castle with Myley for More...Fresh Air. We enjoyed learning about the history and taking in the beautiful surroundings, and of course a trip to the cafe for tea and cake!

Whilst the weather has been improving this week the people who live with us have enjoyed a lot of garden walks and exploring our beautiful grounds for More...Fresh Air.

The people who live with us welcomed Ellie the community champion from our local Asda to work together for their tickled pink campaign.

We played some games together and then enjoyed some tasty treats Ellie had brought in whilst she gave us a talk about tickled pink campaign. We look forward to working closely together in the future!

The people who live with us had another fantastic outing to The Crossing Church for the monthly singing with dementia afternoon. Our good friend Hilary Denis entertained us and we enjoyed singing and dancing along and seeing all our friends in the community!

To mark National Pizza Day the people who live with us enjoyed decorating pizzas which they later enjoyed for their afternoon tea, perfect for More...Creativity!
