Thank you to NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies for the invite to your conference yesterday. 🧠 🗣️ 💚

It was a pleasure, and a great opportunity to Worksop in decreasing the barriers to accessing talking therapies as a multi-disciplinary approach to pain and/or long term conditions.

It was also lovely to meet the team from The Oasis Centre (Kilton, Worksop) and find out about all you do … NB - the jam was delightful on my porridge this morning! 🥣 🍇 👌🏽

🔦 🟢 🚦💡 … I can’t believe I hadn’t realised our new corridor lighting had a green setting until a couple of weeks in!!

Needless to say: I very much enjoyed having a play with them, and setting them to green today 💚 🙌🏽 🌳

Probably the best night of the year, and it very much is true - Worksop’s Got Talent (Worksop's Got Talent) 💚 🕺 🤩

It was an honour and pleasure to be a part of such a special evening, with 12 amazing acts and so many amazing people having orchestrated it too. Speaking to 700 people on the mic 🎤… twice (!) … was only topped by meeting the lovely Kym Marsh for me 😅. It’s hard to believe a month has already gone by; so only 11 months to the next extravaganza!

Well done, again James Clarke for putting on such a great show … and persuading me to run Retford Half Marathon on behalf of Retina UK too 👁️ 🙌🏽 🏃‍♂️

The event has been a local hit for years, and this year sees Kym Marsh and Molly Marsh as celebrity guest judges too 🤩 👏🏽

⭐️ After being introduced to James Clarke through Runway Idol (THE most awe-inspiring and uplifting event I’ve attended this year 💚), I was keen to be somehow involved in Worksop’s Got Talent too.

👁️ Both events run in support of the amazing Retina UK charity - supporting people affected by inherited sight loss, and investing in medical research to make their challenges a thing of the past.

🚴‍♂️ 🇬🇧 … The prestigious Tour of Britain cycling event will be passing through Worksop (no, I’ll not be in this one!!) on Wednesday 6th September.

For those whom have appointments on this day, it looks as though the race will be passing up Kilton Hill around 1140-1150am; meaning that I’d avoid High Hoe Rd, Kilton Hill, (or basically to *not* come past Morrsions) for about an hour before or after that time - and to approach clinic from the town side instead.

One week to go until Bassetlaw will welcome The Tour Of Britain and some of the world's top cycling teams as they race through Nottinghamshire. 🤩
Stage Four of this prestigious race will take place on Wednesday 6th September.

Starting at Clumber Park, the racers will travel through , , , , and before going on to Newark-On-Trent. 🚴

There are lots of ways to get involved from simply cheering the teams on as they pass through your village or town, or by entering one of the competitions or by creating some land art that could be seen by millions of cycling fans watching the race live on ITV.
