Christmas is a time for connection, kindness, and community — but for many elderly and vulnerable people, it can also be a time of loneliness.
Sadly, not everyone has family or a support network around them, and some rely entirely on the care and companionship provided by our team. Almost all of these individuals are also house bound and are unable to access local events or activities.

This year, we are launching our “No One Alone This Christmas” fundraiser to help ensure that every person we support feels remembered, valued, and cared for during the festive season.

Our goal is to deliver Christmas gift boxes and companionship visits to those who may be spending the day on their own.

Participation is optional and here’s how you can help:

🎁 Donate a small item (e.g. blanket, biscuits, toiletries, chocolates or sweets)
💷 Donations to contribute to our Gift of Warmth Appeal – every £10 provides a thoughtful gift (you can donate as little or as much as you wish, every penny helps towards a great cause)
🎅 Take part in our Festive Raffle.. More information to follow.
💌 Write a Christmas card or message of kindness to include in a gift box
❄️ Sponsor an individual, receive a christmas wish list personalised to an individual we support, prices range between £5 to £15 per person.
🎄GoFundMe… Link on our page

Your kindness and support will help us bring joy and connection to those who might otherwise spend the holidays in silence.

If you’d like to contribute or learn more, please contact us via Tel: 01909491669 or email us at bethany.smith@royalcarehealth.co.uk or drop donations at RoyalCare Health, 12 Carlton Road, Worksop, S80 1PH between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday (collections can also be arranged).

Thank you for being part of our caring community — together, we can make sure no one feels alone this Christmas.

🎲💙 The Importance of Companionship 💙🎲

At RoyalCare Health, we understand that companionship is more than just company — it’s connection, laughter, and shared moments that truly brighten the day. 🌟

For many elderly and vulnerable individuals, loneliness can have a serious effect on wellbeing. Something as simple as playing a boardgame, sharing a cup of tea, or enjoying a chat can bring joy, comfort, and a sense of belonging. ☕🎯

Our care team takes pride in creating meaningful moments — from reminiscing over fond memories to enjoying a game together. These small acts of companionship can lift spirits, reduce isolation, and help those we support feel valued and included. 💖

✨ Because care isn’t just about support — it’s about togetherness.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our companionship services, our friendly team is just a message away.

Looking for extra care / support for loved ones

A loved one needing extra support in the following areas, we have space in the following area’s
Fowey, Lostwithiel, St/Austell, St/Blazey and Wadebridge area’s

Our support packages for elderly at home give you a huge number of reasons for choosing care at home over residential care, but here are some of the benefits of care at home:

1-2-1 Your own carer will ensure that you receive all the care you need, every single day at your convenience. No waiting around until they’re free.

Being in your own Your home represents so much, so why leave it and move into residential care? Stay living in the place that means the world to you.

We believe in a ‘whole person’, holistic approach to care, which includes your physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. We also support your loved ones’ emotional wellbeing too, in what can be a stressful time.

You may have built up connections over the years that you’re reluctant to let go of with care at home, you remain in the heart of your community you love, with familiar friends and neighbours nearby.

Your personalised package of care is accompanied by a bespoke support plan that details every aspect of how you like to live your life.
This is how we can help your daily routine continue as it always has done.
