It’s never too late to choose yourself. 💙

Healing your mental health can start with the smallest steps - sometimes ones you don’t even realise you’re taking. Progress doesn’t have to be loud or dramatic.

It just has to begin somewhere.

Nordic Walking is a fun, full-body workout that’s gentle on the joints and great for both your physical and mental well-being. And thanks to funding from Ashfield District Council's Green Activity Grant, we’re pleased to be able to offer new clients up to 5 FREE sessions!

Walks take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays every week. After your free sessions, you’re welcome to keep walking with us for just £4 per session.

Nordic Walking burns more calories than a regular stroll and helps improve posture, balance, and coordination. It’s also a fantastic way to boost your mood, connect with others, and enjoy time outdoors in the fresh air and sunshine.

Sometimes, we just need someone to really listen.

Our Supportive Listening service offers a safe, friendly space over the phone where you can talk about whatever’s on your mind. You’ll be matched with a volunteer listener who’s there to listen without judgment or advice. It’s not counselling - just a kind, understanding ear when you need one. Up to 12 one-to-one telephone sessions are available for you while you find your way forward.

A conversation can be the first step towards feeling lighter 💙

WORLD BOOK DAY 📚

This World Book Day, we’re reflecting on a powerful quote from The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy.

A gentle yet deeply moving reminder that asking for help is not a weakness - it’s an act of courage. Speaking up when you’re struggling can feel overwhelming, but it’s often the bravest step you can take.

This beautiful book is filled with mindful, heartfelt reflections on vulnerability, kindness, friendship, and mental wellbeing. Its words encourage us to open up, to check in with one another, and to remember that we don’t have to face difficult moments alone.

If you’re finding things hard, let this be your reminder: reaching out and talking to someone you trust is a sign of strength.💙

Self Reminder: Healing looks different for everyone.⭐️

Everyone’s mental health journey looks different, and that’s okay.

It’s easy to get caught up in comparison, especially with everything happening around us - but no one else’s path is meant to look like yours.

Heal in the way that feels right for you.💙
