Weβre always looking for ways to improve your experience when contacting the Practice. From Monday 10th November 2025, weβll be trialling a new AI-assisted call answering service to help manage incoming calls more efficiently.
This technology is designed to:
Reduce wait times on the phone
Improve access to the right care
Support our reception team, who are currently managing staff shortages
During the trial, patients calling and selecting Option 1 to speak with the clinical team may be offered the opportunity to use the AI service. The system will ask a few simple questions and automatically complete a SystmConnect form based on your responses, which will be routed to the appropriate team.
Participation is initially optional, and you can still choose to speak with a member of our team if you prefer. We anticipate that if the trial goes well, this will become the default answering service for all calls to our reception team or medicines team over the coming weeks.
