This means our team may have limited access to patient records, appointments, and other digital services. Some services may take longer than usual, and online systems may be temporarily unavailable.
Please be assured that patient safety remains our top priority, and our staff are working hard to continue providing essential care while the issue is resolved.
โœ… Please continue to attend any booked appointments unless we contact you
๐Ÿ“ž For urgent medical advice, contact NHS 111
๐Ÿš‘ In an emergency, please call 999
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Important Information

The A280 Long Furlong road will be closed to traffic from Monday 13th April for approximately 10 days, this closure is due to CityFibre installing new underground fibre cables in the area.

While the road is closed, we expect there will be an increase in traffic using the Findon road/A24 and this may impact the time that it takes to travel to our Findon practice especially in the morning and late afternoon.

If you have an appointment at our Findon practice between 13th-22nd April, we recommend allowing extra travelling time to ensure that you can reach us in time.

Although this work is outside of Lime Tree Surgeryโ€™s control we thank you for your patience and understanding.

02/04/2026

The practice will be closed for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April. Normal surgery hours will resume on Tuesday 7th April. Our website will remain available as normal, if you need more urgent help and advice over the Easter weekend please visit https://111.nhs.uk or call NHS 111, If you have a life threatening emergency please call 999.

MenB Vaccination Update
Because of the recent MenB outbreak in the Kent area, many parents are asking about vaccine eligibility. There is not currently any specific immunisation catchup programme for MenB outside of Kent.

Hereโ€™s what you need to know:
โœ” Babies born on/after 1 Sept 2015 receive the MenB vaccine routinely at 8 weeks, 16 weeks and 1 year.
โœ” Children under 2 may be eligible for up to 3 doses if not yet fully vaccinated (children over 2 years old are no longer eligible)
โœ– Anyone born before 1 Sept 2015is not eligible on the NHS but can obtain the vaccine privately.
โš  We cannot offer private MenB vaccinations at the surgery.
For symptoms or urgent concerns, please contact us or NHS 111 immediately.

We would like to make all patients aware of upcoming road changes that will affect your journey to the Findon Valley surgery.

From 2nd March 2026 for at least 2 weeks, the road outside Lime Tree Surgery (Lime Tree Avenue) will operate as a oneโ€‘way system for the duration of local road works. This means you will no longer be able to directly turn into Lime Tree Avenue from the A24 Findon Road.

How to Access the Surgery Car Park

To reach our car park during the oneโ€‘way closure, please follow the diversion route:

Drive up to Cissbury Avenue
Turn down Lime Tree Avenue
Follow the oneโ€‘way system to reach the entrance to the surgery car park.

Clear signage will be in place, but we advise all patients to allow some extra time when travelling to appointments, especially during busy periods, patients that arrive 10 minutes later than their original appointment time are unlikely to be seen.

Why This Change Is Happening

These temporary traffic measures are part of ongoing roadworks in the local area which are required for the maintenance of underground gas pipes. Although not arranged by the surgery, we are working closely with the relevant authorities to ensure patient access is maintained throughout the works.

Pedestrian Access

Pedestrian routes to the practice remain open as normal.

Need Assistance?

If you have any concerns about attending your appointment due to the roadworks, or if you require additional support, please contact our reception team who will be happy to help.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these works take place and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

12/02/2026

All of our sites will be closed from 1pm-4pm on Thursday 12th February for staff training, if you have an urgent enquiry that can not wait until the practice reopens please call NHS 111, for life threatening emergencies please dial 999. SystmConnect is still available during this time for administrative queries and is available on the attached link. Thank you.
