Caer Gwent combines superb residential living with 24-hour expert nursing care, supporting individuals with complex health conditions.

Our home has a high staff-to-resident ratio, with a versatile team built around residents’ needs. As well providing around-the-clock nursing care, we have dedicated Health & Wellbeing Coordinators who deliver regular and stimulating activities catered to individuals’ interests. Opened in 1988 by the Earl of March, Caer Gwent is an elegant care home set in a quiet residential area of Worthing. Our home features spacious and airy surroundings, beautiful furnishings and well-tended landscaped gardens.

✨ A truly magical Carol Concert ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Huge thanks to Lorraine and the team at Christ Church, our sponsors H D Tribe Ltd and Connect Catering for the lovely refreshments. We were honoured to be joined by Mayor of Worthing, with Worthing & Adur Town Crier - Bob Smytherman hosting, and heartfelt thanks to Connie Apps, Guy Clinch and Warren Fabes for their inspiring contributions.

A special thank you to our incredible performers - Andy's Angels, Emily Ansell, Marc Yarrow and Singers Rechoired - and to our amazing volunteers who made it all possible.

Bringing the community together for this special evening was a real highlight - everyone brought the festive spirit to life, filling the church with such joy. And with everyone’s generosity, we raised an incredible £2,700 towards our community hub build this Christmas 💙🎄

Festive fun at Caer Gwent! ✨🎄

🍰 A huge thank you to everyone who recently joined us for the Christmas fayre! From raffles and gift stalls to family activities (not to mention plenty of mulled wine and cake!), it was a truly joyful celebration.

🎀 Our residents also got creative during a festive wreath-making workshop, beautifully led by Jacqui, our talented gardener. With fresh greenery, ribbons and expert guidance, everyone created their own stunning festive designs.

And the Christmas spirit continues at Caer Gwent - not long to go until the big day! 🎅🎁

🎄✨ Embracing the Spirit of Community at Caer Gwent ✨🎄

We’ve had some truly wonderful community visits recently here at Caer Gwent!

👐 Students from Oak Grove College joined us to teach Christmas songs through signing - a fantastic and heart-warming experience enjoyed by everyone.
🎭 We were also delighted to welcome Guild Care's very own Fitzalan Howard Centre's Community Links, who treated us to an amazing performance of The Gruffalo - it was a huge hit and really got us into the festive spirit!

A massive thank you to all involved. We loved every moment and can’t wait to welcome you back again! 💙

🏃‍♀️🏅 Take on the Brighton Marathon for Guild Care – Sunday 12th April 2026! 🏅🏃‍♂️

Do something incredible and run the Brighton Marathon in support of Guild Care. Every step you take will help us provide vital care and support to older people, people living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities in our community. 💙

We ask each runner to raise £500 – and don’t worry, our team will be here to support you every step of the way, from training tips to fundraising advice.
