Because we provide care directly in our customers’ homes, a Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own car is essential.

Salary: Increased pay rates effective from April 2026 as follows: £16.00ph - Monday to Friday, £17.25ph - Weekends, 45p per business mile.

Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time hours available. Evening only hours working 5pm to 10pm and alternate weekends.

World Hearing Day – Ray’s Story

Ray was approaching 70 when he started noticing small changes in his hearing. Conversations weren’t as clear as they used to be, and background noise made things harder to follow.

He decided to get his hearing tested and was prescribed a Phonak hearing aid. While it has made a real difference to his day-to-day life, Ray still finds noisy environments a little challenging.

There’s currently no strict criteria for getting your hearing tested, but it’s advisable for healthy adults aged 18–60 to have their hearing checked every 3–5 years, and for those over 60 to have an annual test. If you notice any changes, don’t ignore them. Early checks can make a big difference to staying connected, confident and independent.

Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026

We’re turning up the celebrations this month as we recognise an incredible milestone, Care Supervisor Tracey is celebrating 10 amazing years with Guardian Angel Carers!

Tracey joined us in February 2016 and hasn’t stood still since. Through determination, ambition and a passion for care, she has progressed her career by completing her Level 2 and Level 3 in Health & Social Care, and she’s not stopping there. She’s now powering ahead with her Level 5 qualification!

Here’s what Tracey shared about her journey:

“The knowledge I gain directly supports me in my role, helping me provide high-quality, person-centred care. Guardian Angel Carers’ ongoing encouragement has made a real difference to my personal and professional development and has given me the opportunity to progress within a job I am passionate about.”
