Our finished Remembrance Display . We started our display as a lockdown project and it has grown every year . Our residents always remember a Poppy . We spend hours painting them throughout the year . Some residents may have lost the ability to paint the plastic bottles ,so we've added felt Poppies for them . There is something for everyone to do .This year we have had a lot of community support from families, friends ,local Veterans, schools, care staff ,night staff , neighbours and even had some plastic bottles posted from Scotland. We really appreciate everyone's help . We have been asked how many Poppies but we have stopped counting . We just enjoy making them .A new horse was built this year ,a sailor ,an airmen ,a female soldier,an additional cascade , crocheted Poppies, a Spitfire , Lest We Forget sign and additional Poppies in the garden . We do this for and with our residents to remember . Residents will all be viewing the display in the coming days .
