It's been a fantastic couple of weeks here at Sunhill with plenty of Halloween inspired fun! Kicking off with seated sports, halloween rugby - a big hit with inflatable pumpkins 🎃
Our residents have enjoyed some lovely trips out on the minibus to the Garden Centre and to see the sea, plenty of coffee and delicious cakes! 🍰
We have been lucky to have some furry company too, our dog therapy bought lots of joy and cuddles 🐕
Arts and Crafts have been in full swing with pumpkin decorating, painting witches and creating some beautiful autumn wreaths.
A great team effort and some lovely works of art! 🎨
Music too has filled the home with our talented pianist and Clarinet player Linda 🎶
As well as us playing our own spooky tunes to get everyone in the Halloween spirit!
We were also treated to a visit from Mr Magic Hat, amazed us with all his magic tricks and illusions 🧙‍♂️
Our chef Dennis whipped up some frightfully delicious halloween treats for our buffet. With the residents making some wonderfully spooky cakes and biscuits 🍪
To end the day on Halloween our residents loved seeing all the trick or treaters with their amazing costumes 👻

It's been a lovely, lively few days up at sunhill! We've been keeping busy with all sorts of activities. From a fun game of basketball to a live drawing class feauturing a rather handsome stuffed fox 🦊
We've celebrated some birthdays, enjoyed plenty of puzzles and got creative with Halloween painting and pumpkin decorating🎃
Cliff our special furry friend also paid us a visit for some wonderful pet therapy. Thanks to his owner for bringing such joy to everyone 🐕
We shared lots of laughter along the way, a busy happy time for all 😁

What a wonderful couple of weeks we've had, the home buzzing with joy and creativity! 🎨
We welcomed Ernie for some heart warming animal therapy and smiles all around 🐕
Our arts and crafts sessions produced gorgeous decorative window displays with everyone working so hard 🖌
Cookery club treated us to delicious Victoria sandwich and lemon and blueberry shortbread biscuits 🎂
We have won trophies galore in seated sports - a new favourite being the boxing! 🏆
Of course our usual much loved balloon games, lively bingo sessions bringing laughter and a few lucky winners 🎉
To top it off singer Kim delighted us with our favourite tunes and heartfelt requests as well as Linda enchanting us with her piano and Clarinet 🎵

Over the past couple of weeks we have enjoyed a wonderful mix of activities. Lots of smiles from the bingo winners 🏆
We were delighted to welcome Cliff a visiting dog, bringing lots of joy and cuddles for everyone 🐶
Our regular favourites too including painting, dominoes, brain games, puzzles and floor and fairground games which kept our minds active and spirits high 🎾
Residents helped pick our tasty homegrown tomatoes and strawberries 🍅
We have been treated to some fantastic entertainment, Alex returning with his singing and guitar playing filling the room with music. 🎸
We were thrilled to welcome Emily a beautiful dancer who gave us a brand new experience this month 💃
Many happy moments, laughter and connection. An uplifting time for all! 😁

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Summer Fair on Friday! 🎉 We were blessed with lots of sunshine, smiles and laughter 🌞 Food was delicious with a lovely bbq and our raffle brought plenty of fun and laughter too! 🍖 Special thanks to all the staff and relatives who helped make the day so special and to DJ Keith for keeping the best vibes going with the 70s and 80s tunes 🎵 A truly wonderful day to remember! 🧡

A busy and joyful few days getting ready for the Summer Fair on Friday, decorating our jars filling them with sweets and putting pretty bows on raffle prizes! 🎀
We also celebrated world friendship day with a wonderful performance from our talented singer and guitarist Alex 🎸
Our puzzles and painting group have been as creative as ever and we enjoyed some energentic exercises including seated sports and a mini golf tournament where there were many proud winners! 🏌️‍♂️
Thanks again for all the community spirit from the relatives 🧡

July has been a wonderful month here at Sunhill, filled with music, laughter and sunshine! 🌞 Lovely entertainment filling the home with music, arts and crafts which was a big hit along with many creative moments including stone painting and building our own miniture forests! Big thankyou to all the relatives that helped🌲 Movement has been a big part of the month too with regular exercise groups and games like balloon tennis 🏓 Relaxing in the afternoon with building, baking and Bingo. Lots of residents Birthdays we have celebrated this Month as well! 🎂
