Desert Island Discs was our theme for the residents to enjoy and reminisce about a special song (or songs) which meant a lot to them from their past. We enjoyed a superb afternoon of sing-a-long with Pete & had lots of laughter 🎶😁!

🌸 This afternoon we enjoyed flower arranging in readiness for Mothers Day 🌸
We got creative with building some bouquets and filling the room with enjoyment and the sweet scent of fresh flowers. 💐

We had such a flipping fun time this afternoon celebrating Pancake Day! 😄We enjoyed some pancake tossing and a fun race, which always brings lots of laughter and smiles. We also learnt about the history of Shrove Tuesday and Mardis Gras (Fat Tuesday). 🎭🎷🎺🎼

🌹 Happy Valentine’s Day from all at The Shelley 🌹

We had a fantastic day sharing love and laughter with each other & we celebrated the loving relationships that are still so important to us all. We enjoyed some lovely romantic music with Pete, who serenaded our residents this afternoon 🥰

We have had a lovely afternoon enjoying some physical activities from Rise Brighton & Hove, Littlehampton & Worthing who brought some Winter Olympics based exercises to the residents to participate in🥇🥈🥉

As it’s Valentine’s week ❤️ we took the opportunity this afternoon to reminisce about love, dating and marriage across the decades, especially the 1950s. Our residents really enjoyed sharing their wonderful memories and also some of their treasured wedding photos. 💕❤️💍

We're loving our newly refurbished Dining Room looking out onto the garden. Roll on the summer!

There was lots of laughter and excitement in our lounge this afternoon as our residents played traditional skittles in a real wooden bowling alley. Competing against each other to knock down the most skittles, the final winning score was an incredible 29 - well done Kay for winning first prize and also Pat coming in second place. 😄

The Residents have had a lovely afternoon listening to Entertainer Dom playing the flute this afternoon 😌

To celebrate New Years Eve we all spent the afternoon down at The Shelley ‘pub’. Our residents had such a fantastic time, enjoying traditional pub games like Shove a’ Penny, darts, dominoes and beer pong! There was so much laughter in the room and everyone had lots of fun! Happy New Year everyone! 🥳🥳🥂🥂
