In a world that is rushed, disconnected and relentless I offer this Slow Flow class. Never before has it been more important to carve some time out to pause, soften and centre ourselves

This is a yoga class that meets you exactly where you are. Slow Flow Yoga is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and just the right amount of challenging. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this class offers a steady, unhurried pace that gives you time to explore each pose, connect with your breath, and build strength with confidence. No rush, no pressure—just space to move, learn, and feel good in your body.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out and if you would like to book please head to:

Classes are £10 for weekly drop in or I offer a class pass which is £50 for 6 classes.

Reflecting on a beautiful mini retreat yesterday afternoon. I love holding these spaces for women, it’s such a privilege and something I don’t take lightly or for granted. I love the planning, deciding what treats to make, the soundtracks to use and the feeling I’d like to try and cultivate. And then to have it all come together on the day is amazing. Thank you to those that put their trust in me and for the beautiful energy you bring ❤️

*** Fully Booked ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏻 Thank you so much ❤️ ***

In a world where rest is shunned, winter reminds us to slow down. This restorative yoga retreat is an invitation to follow nature’s quieter rhythm—to pause, soften, and turn inward. Surrounded by the stillness of the season, we’ll practice deeply supported restorative yoga, gentle breathwork, and intentional rest, allowing the body and nervous system to replenish as the earth does in winter.

I have been asked for a little while to hold a daytime beginners block so here it is!

Starting next week, 7th January 1:30-2:30pm and going through until the 11th February you will be introduced to Hatha Yoga. Tuning in and listening to your body and not forcing anything.

My aim is to share yoga, shedding the images often portrayed in social media and showing that you don’t need to be flexible to practice, you don’t need fancy clothes and all are welcome.

A very sped up flow from me today. This is the first video I’ve put up of me flowing through an albeit brief practice. Even after teaching 3 classes a week, mini retreats and Menoyoga workshops for nearly 2 years I still have huge imposter syndrome. I recently saw a post by my yoga teacher that spoke about how yoga is depicted in social media, the way it’s presented by the majority of the yoga influencers and if I’m honest it’s played a huge part in why I feel like I do. I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently about how to overcome this and have realised that I’m just me in my messy, unfiltered self. I’ve got super tight hamstrings and lower back from all the other exercise that I have done over the years and I’ll never be able to fold myself in half or back to front and that’s ok. Inversions in the context of headstands and handstands just don’t do it for me. Coupled with the fact that I’m highly Perimenopausal which affects my balance at times I’ve always been pretty clumsy and would probably stack it 😂 so maybe it’s time I shared the raw, wobbly and real side of my personal practice. The one where sometimes I only have 5 minutes to breathe properly or 20 minutes to flow and that ok. That’s what I need and what I can do with the time I have and maybe, just maybe that’s ok.

Last nights nourishing slow flow was so lovely. Autumn and winter are my favourite times to teach as we get cosy in the studio, the energy is calmer and the light is gorgeous. We focused on connecting with what felt best individually, slowing the breath down and taking some time to enjoy the movement. Hope to see you on the mat soon 🧘🏻‍♀️

I do love the beginners Hatha yoga class I take on a Tuesday evening, even more so now that the evenings are drawing in and there’s such a cosy feel to the class. All are invited and welcomed just as they are. It’s a pretty chilled vibe with giggles and wobbles along the way. A couple of spaces are available so please let me know if you’d like to come along or book through my website 😊🧘🏻‍♀️ www.lisaryeyoga.co.uk

Here are a few shots from my last mini retreat. I’m often asked if people need experience or need to regularly practice yoga in order to attend. It’s a resounding no!

85% of the women that attend my mini retreats don’t practice regularly with me but they return for each mini retreat as an act of self care for themselves.

It’s a few hours carved out for them to rest, move, breathe and just be. It’s community and stillness, a time to not have to think about anything other than if they need the loo, tea, a snack or a blanket.

There are a few spaces left on my next mini retreat on the 2nd November. Booking link is below and just know you are welcomed as you are with zero expectations ❤️
