A centre for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales.

Dynamic is a registered charity providing support for children and young people with disabilities in Wrexham, North Wales. Dynamic offers a range of services for children and young people with diagnosed disabilities aged 8-25 years. These include: after-school and weekend activity sessions, a participation group, nurture programme, advocacy service and a social group for young adults. Dynamic also provide support to parents/carers with regular support groups, well-being treatments and regular family events. In addition, the Dynamic signing choir, Signing Sensations offer our young people a chance to practise twice weekly and perform within the local community at a variety of public and private events. Happy Tuesday Dynamic Followers 😀

For anyone local to Dynamic, you may well have spotted some activity here with contractors over the last few weeks. This is thanks to a grant award from Cadwyn Clwyd and UK Government.

Thanks to this grant we have been able to replace 2 radiators in Bradbury House, replenish our play area surface with fresh playbark and replace our gates and fences around Bradbury building and garden. Amazing!

If you've haven't tried Airhop Eagles Meadow Shopping Centre yet you are definitely missing out! Huge thanks to our families who joined us for their SEN session this week. We hope you all had fun!

Their SEN session is every Monday 6-7pm. Admission is £12 with 1 free carer place.

Let’s talk about the City of Culture bid. Apologies for the long post but it needs to be heard.

When people in Wrexham think of culture, they think of paintings, statues, museums and sometimes scoff. We’ve all heard it ‘Wrexham has no culture’ 🤷🏼‍♀️

Culture is far more, culture is about us, who we are and the opportunities we have. Thanks to support of the UK Government, Wrecsam2029 and AVOW we’ve created an amazing opportunity in our VIBE - Club Nights For Adults With Learning Disabilities And/Or Autism.🪩❤️

They really have proven to be a safe space for adults to enjoy a night out, make friends and try something new.

❤️We’ve seen confidence grow.
🧡We’ve seen relationships formed.
💛We’ve seen mental health improve.

All because of a monthly club night, so imagine what we’d see if we kept these going. The task now is to secure more funding 🤞

Huge thanks to The Lab for being the most amazing venue. They’re fighting their own battle to stay open too 😢 Please support them.

To all pubs, clubs and venues in our beloved town (tag them folks). Please consider hosting your own disability nights. Let’s give adults with disabilities a choice of what they do with their weekends, just like we have!

Think it’s safe to say some of our Rebels group were as shocked as we were to open the door to Wayne and Shelley from The Turf this week.

They surprised us with a fantastic donation of £250 from their annual Christmas fundraiser 🥰 An amazing gesture. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in the fundraiser both online and at the burger van. Your support means such a lot ❤️🧡💛
