Happy S A T U R D A Y Dynamic Followers 🎆

We’ve been continuing the Bonfire Night fun this week across all our groups because why celebrate for one night when you can celebrate for two weeks?

Our young people have:

❤️ Created even more colourful firework artwork, exploring paint and sensory materials.

🧡 Practiced reading and following safety skills before using real sparklers.

💛 Enjoyed Bonfire-themed sensory trays, made some amazing edible sparklers and even had a go at a rocket experiment using mentos and coke 🫣🚀😂

It’s been another brilliant week of creativity all while learning about fun AND safety during this busy season. Whatever you’re up to this weekend, we hope you stay warm, safe and have lots of fun! 🔥

Are you looking for an exciting, meaningful volunteer opportunity?

Our signing choir, Dynamic’s Signing Sensations, are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support the children and young people who take part.

The Signing Sensations are a BSL choir who meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and regularly performing at events across the local area.

You don’t need to know BSL to volunteer, but we’re sure you’ll naturally pick up some signs along the way. Our brilliant staff team lead the signing - we’re simply looking for volunteers who can support our young people and help them shine.

We’re looking for:

❤️ Experience of working with children and young people with disabilities, or a desire to gain experience in this field.

🧡 Willingness to support our trained staff during practices and performances.

💛 A great sense of humour and a positive attitude.

❤️ Willingness to support young people with their individual needs.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, we’d love to hear from you.

A club night like no other in Wrexham, specifically for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism and their guests 🙌 A safe and supportive environment making it easy to enjoy a night out in our city centre. Essential companions are required for those who need support to navigate a busy club. If you'd like to come as a group, family and friends are welcome too.

Happy Monday Dynamic Folowers 🤩

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated to the Dynamic Wrexham bucket collection at Wrexham Bonfire & Firework Display At Penyllan Farm. Your donations raised a fantastic £456.77 😍

Thank you to Sharon and Mayor of Wrexham Tina Mannering for making this happen. Special thanks to our bucket collectors who stood for hours in the cold and rain too. Legends the lot of you 👏

We even bumped into an ex-Dynamic staff member who now works for the fire service. A lovely reunion 🥰

Our groups have been getting fully immersed in Bonfire Night activities, with plenty creativity and sparkle:

❤️ Crafting our very own rockets from recycled materials.
🧡 Painting and drawing fireworks bursting across the sky.
💛 Making delicious edible sparklers.
❤️ Following visual and verbal safety instructions while having a go with real sparklers.

We know there are lots of fantastic Bonfire Night events happening across Wrexham, so whatever you’re planning stay warm, stay safe and have fun! 🎇🧣✨

Happy Tuesday Dynamic Followers 😀

We have some lovely news to share. Please check out New Dot Cinema in Llangollen. They’re a wonderful organisation bringing cinema to their local community.

On Sat 22nd November they will be showing The Peanut Butter Falcon, a moving film written about a young man with Down Syndrome.

They will be donating a % of the ticket sales on the evening itself and we will also be there with an info stand and collecting tin. How lovely is this! ❤️

The Cantorion Gogledd Cymru Male Voice Choir, which brings singers from across North Wales together, will be performing a mixture of Welsh and English songs.

Happy H A L L O W E E N Dynamic Followers 🎃

Beth, Claire and Dynamic’s youngest volunteer (and future Ferrari champion 🏎️🏁🏆), Arthur have been helping out alongside staff and volunteers at the Hwb Lles Wrecsam / Wellbeing Hub Wrexham to throw a free, inclusive Halloween party for children under 12 with additional needs.

The young people have been enjoying a silent disco and some spooky arts and crafts. So lovely to see so many of our young people take part in this event.

We’d like to give a big thank you to the team at the Wellbeing Hub for including Dynamic in your celebrations. We can’t wait to work alongside you for future events!
