It's - a week to celebrate all the vital work done by charities in our local communities.

Our small local charity is here for parents who have experienced pregnancy or baby loss. This kind of grief is often carried quietly, but we believe no one should have to face it alone.

We provide one‑to‑one support, offering a safe, compassionate space for people to talk, remember, and begin to heal in their own time.

Christmas can be a very difficult time for those who have experience pregnancy or baby loss. You may find it hard to take part in social occasions and family gatherings. You may also feel unable to communicate your feelings to everyone as they celebrate the festive season.

It is important to know what is right for you and be honest with friends and family.

Taking time for self-care, giving yourself time to grieve, or finding a way to include or remember your baby at Christmas may be things you want to think about.

Our local landmark Dinas Bran was lit up in pink and blue last night to mark Baby Loss Awareness week. 🩷🩵

For the next hour we will be lighting up Dinas Bran Castle as part of the light up for Baby Loss Awareness.
We’ve been involved with lighting up parts of Llangollen for the past two years for this project and it’s great to be asked to light up this amazing part of our town.

"Baby Loss Awareness Week culminates with the global “Wave of Light” on 15th October, which is also a globally recognised event.

We invite you to join other families across the world by lighting a candle at 7pm local time and leaving it burning for at least one hour to remember all babies that have died too soon.

To join our virtual Wave of Light, take a photo of your candle and post it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using at 7pm local time or join the Facebook Event to watch the livestream.

Wherever you do this, you will be joining a global ‘Wave of Light’ in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time."

A special ceremony to commemorate babies lost during pregnancy or infancy will take place in Wrexham later today.

The non-religious Service of Remembrance will be held at 3pm on Sunday, 5 October at St Mary’s Cathedral on Regent Street.

Great news

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the People's Postcode Lottery, who allocate funds raised by their supportive players. This will help to fund our vital support to those facing pregnancy decisions, and pregnancy and baby loss.
