We made it!

The weather, and those hills really put us to the test, but every step was worth it for such an amazing cause.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith for the warm welcome and the much-needed hot drink at the finish line.

And the biggest well done to all our walkers for taking on the challenge with determination and keeping spirits high every single mile.

There’s still time to donate, we’ve smashed our second target so let’s see if we can get to £3000 by the end of the Quality Moments Matter Campaign 💜

The DIY SOS: BBC Children in Need Special 2025 airs on BBC One at 9pm tomorrow!

We had the amazing opportunity to get involved with this incredible project, installing a ramp at The Joshua Tree, a children’s cancer support charity. Keep your eyes peeled, you might just spot some of our team on screen alongside Nick Knowles!

💙🎉 We’ve hit our £1,000 target and Healthcare Matters has doubled it!

Our fundraising walk for Hope House Children’s Hospices is happening this Friday! A huge thank you to everyone who has donated. Your support, matched by Healthcare Matters, is already making a big difference 💙

Through the Quality Moments Matter campaign, donations are doubled again, helping us do even more for the children and families supported by Hope House.

Here’s what your donations can achieve:
💦 £200 (doubled to £400) = a week of hydrotherapy sessions
🌞 £1,250 (doubled to £2,500) = eight Sunshine Group sessions
🎈 £3,000 (doubled to £6,000) = specialist play equipment

With donations still coming in, we’ve raised our target to £2,500. Let’s see how much more we can achieve together!

🌟 Huge well done to Lola (and Ziggy!) 🌟

We’re so proud of our amazing team member, Lola, who walked 100 miles in October with her four-legged sidekick Ziggy 🐾 and together they raised an incredible £920 for breast cancer awareness. 💖

Team catch-up and looking ahead 👣

This morning, we gathered the whole Healthcare Matters team to reflect on the goals we’ve achieved so far this year and to set our sights on what we’d like to accomplish before 2025 comes to a close.

It’s always great to pause and celebrate the progress we’ve made together, and to see everyone’s enthusiasm for what’s still to come!

We also took the opportunity to get a group photo with our banner for next month’s “20 miles for 20 years” charity walk 🥳🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

We’re walking 20 miles from our Wrexham office to Hope House Children’s Hospices to raise funds for the incredible work they do supporting children and families.

20 miles for 20 years! 🚶‍♀️‍➡️🚶‍♂️‍➡️🚶‍➡️

On 14th November 2025, a team from Healthcare Matters will be walking 20 miles from our office in Wrexham to Hope House in Oswesty to raise money for the incredible Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith Children’s Hospices.

As we approach our 20th anniversary, we wanted to do something meaningful to mark the occasion, something that reflects our values of care, teamwork, and community. Supporting Hope House felt like the perfect way to do that.

We’ll be sharing updates and photos along the journey on the day, so keep an eye out to see how the team gets on!

By taking part in the Quality Moments Matter campaign, every pound we raise will be matched so the impact is doubled.
