Dearly loved wife of Ram. Dearly loved daughter of Ken, and of the late David and Maureen. Loving Mum of Stuart, Rosina, Tanya and Yash; and a dear mother in law. Cherished and doting Nannie to all her very much loved grandchildren. Dear sister of Paula and Lorraine; a dear sister in law, and a loving aunt and great aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Donna will be lovingly remembered all her dear family and friends.

Funeral service and committal at Pentrebychan Crematorium on Tuesday 31st March 2026 at 1:30pm.

Treasured and proud Great Grandma of Ivy, George, Ted, Molly, Henry, Tomos, Osian, Efan, Grace and Millie. A dear sister and sister in law, and a much loved aunt.

Funeral service at St Mary’s Church, Johnstown on Thursday 19th March at 11am, followed by committal at Pentrebychan Crematorium.

Since the breaking news regarding disgraced funeral directors Hayley Bell and Richard Elkin of Elkin and Bell Funerals from Gosport, Hampshire, who were jailed yesterday for their failures in their care of the deceased, I would take this opportunity to reassure anyone concerned about the care of their loved ones in the Wrexham area. All funeral firm members of Wrexham and District Funeral Matters Group (WDFMG), are fully compliant and offer the utmost care and dignity to deceased persons in our care.
All member firm’s are either affiliated to the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and / or the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). Both organisations inspect their members’ operating procedures and premises regularly to ensure compliance.
Furthermore, as a group of professional people working in the funeral profession, which include funeral directors, coroner’s office, registration service, hospital bereavement services, medical examiners, the police as well as cemeteries and crematoria, WDFMG are proactively working together to ensure and provide best practise services to the bereaved in Wrexham and District.
Group chairman, Andrew Evans said that he spoke on behalf of every member of the group in saying “We are all appalled by the recent events in Gosport and from Hull.” Mr Evans added “I can alleviate any concerns that anyone may have in the wake of these atrocious news stories, that every one of our member firms offer the most professional service possible, and I have no doubt in my mind about any of our members in relation to the care, respect and the dignity of the deceased in any of our members’ care.”
“Our next group meeting will be addressed by the NAFD in relation to the profession becoming regulated” added Andrew who is himself a funeral director. “This will be a great opportunity for our members to voice their support for government regulation”.
