Harlings is a safe and beautiful location to unwind and reconnect with nature.

✅We are proud to offer both meat and livestock sales of our Pedigree Registered British Heritage Rare Breed animals, raised and fed the natural way, ensuring we provide quality stock and produce.

✅ Our beautiful, well maintained secure field with stunning views has been made available for both individual and group private hire, with lush Devon grass and 6-foot high small-hole fencing, in addition to a summerhouse, toilets, water and dedicated parking.

✅Each year we are able to offer a number of free Educational Nature and Environmental farm visits for qualifying groups. All visits can be correlated with an existing learning subject and/or adjusted to meet individual needs, age and ability. Our aim is to educate and inspire, in a non-judgemental calm environment, to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the countryside, conservation and sustainability.

✅Green Care refers to structured therapy or treatment programmes that take place in natural surroundings and recognise the instinctive connection between nature. Harlings has been working with various organisations to improve its surroundings and expertise, and is honoured to able to offer Green Care, both Educational and Therapeutic, welcoming people, of all abilities, vulnerability, age and mental health status to provide ‘a sense of belonging’ and feelings of social inclusion in our Experience and Therapeutic sessions.

✅ Our fully insured and licensed dog daycare is a safe, happy, kennel-free ‘home from home’ environment, offering professional, bespoke care by experienced and qualified owners. Your beloved dog can safely explore the delights of nature whilst you enjoy total peace of mind.

✅ Our newly refurbished equine retirement/full livery offers 34 acres of grazing and 9 acres of woodland. With room to roam, an abundance of grass, airy stables, a tidy yard, individual paddocks and high-quality specialist care, our beautiful livery will give your horse the lifestyle they deserve.

Thank you to all of you that have already contacted us, we will be with you sometime after midday tomorrow to collect your trees. For those of you that want your Christmas trees collected from the Bere Peninsula, you have until 8pm this evening to let us know, after that, I'm afraid the list will be closed for collections this year so we can work out the most sustainable route.

We will be collecting real Christmas trees from the Bere Peninsula for our English Goats. If you would like your tree collected, please ensure it is outside by midday Sunday 4th January 2026 and message us with your address asap so we can plan the most efficient route as we won't collect trees we haven't permission for.

Dogs… We all know our humans love to involve you in everything… especially at Christmas! But here a few reminders to keep you safe over Christmas (and we’re naming-and-shaming a few of our Harlings friends!):

🍫Chocolate, mince pies, grapes and mulled wine are best admired by humans only (yes, Max and Flo – you are typical Labradors and we’re definitely talking to you!)

🎄Tinsel, baubles and wrapping paper may look like toys… but they’re not the fun kind (we’re specifically thinking of Buster here…)

🥰Find a nice cosy and quiet spot if the house gets busy (as much as we do love your cuddles, Bailey. It’s okay to have a power nap!)

🌭Extra guests = extra crumbs, so your humans might do a quick “no sneaky snacks” reminder to guests (but that does not mean you put on the ‘puppy eyes’ Willow!)

👣A walk or a bit of calm time can work wonders with all the excitement (Hello, Milo – need to burn off some energy?)
