Last week, we took some time to celebrate the incredible team that keeps our home running with so much heart 💛

Our staff enjoyed a full week of well being treats, fromm nail pampering sessions and 'find the ducks' competition to a special breakfast and our very own award ceremony. 🦆💅🏆

We truly are blessed with an amazing team. Without their dedication, compassion and hard work we wouldn't be the wonderful home we are today.

This was just a small token of our appreciation but our gratitude is HUGE. Thank you to every member of our team for everything you do, every single day. 💛

We were absolutely delighted to welcome The Dance Factory into our home last weekend! Their beautiful performance filled our lounge with music, smiles and happy tears.

Our residents were truly moved by the talent, energy and kindness shown by every dancer. Moments like these mean so much and we can't thank them enough for giving up their time to bring joy to us all. ❤️

💛Celebrating Children In Need with Pudsey Biscuit Fun!💛

Today our lovely residents rolled up their sleeves and got creative! 🍪 We spent the morning making Pudsey Bear biscuits and decorating them with lots of colour, sprinkles and plenty of smiles. 🐻

🎇Happy Firework Night! 🎆

Today we celebrated this wonderful occasion indoors, keeping warm and cosy whilst enjoying our indoor fireworks!
We had such great fun together and lots of giggles!
(Although we did have our nurses panicking we might set the fire alarms off! 😅)

🎃👻What a fantastic Halloween party! 👻🎃

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a fun day! 🧡
Amazing face painting, great music, delicious food and brilliant raffle prizes.

Best of all, together we raised £145 towards our residents funds!

Thank you Cow & Apple, Meet at eight, Westlands Yeovil, Goldenstones Leisure Centre, Haynes Motor Museum, Barber's Cheese, Ilchester Cheese your very kind donations helped raise the money towards the residents funds helping bring real joy and make a difference in their lives. ❤️

💦❄️ ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE ❄️💦

Sekhar, Emma, Naga and Ed took on the Ice Bucket Challenge like absolute champions, even in this freezing weather! 🥶

The residents absolutely loved getting involved, shooting water pistols, they were crying with laughter as they joined the fun! 😂

Best of all, we raised a fantastic £135 for Alzheimer's Society. 💜

A big thankyou to everyone who donated and supported us, your laughter and generosity made it a day to remember. ⭐️

A huge thank you to Madjeston Milk Station for visiting our home today! 🐥🐰💛

After another company let us down several times, our residents were so eager to finally meet some furry and feathered friends! And Madjeston did not disappoint! The joy on everyones faces said it all. So many smiles, so much laughter and memories we'll cherish for a long time.

We're so grateful for the care and kindness you showed to our residents and the wonderful animals you brought along. You made their day truly special! 🌟

🌸✨Flower Arranging Fun ✨🌸

What better way to brighten up a gloomy day than with flowers? 🌼 Our residents had a wonderful time arranging blooms of all colours and scents, filling the room with beauty and cheer.

As we worked with the flowers, conversation bloomed too, from naming each variety, to sharing gardening tips and even reminiscing about wedding bouquets. 💐💞

It truly lifted our spirits and brought sunshine indoors! ☀️

🏅☀️ Sports Day & BBQ Fun ☀️🏅

What an amazing day we had here at Ivelhurst! From lively games to a delicious BBQ, the laughter never stopped. The highlight? Our dress up relay, we don't think we've laughed so hard in ages! 👒🕶👕
