We enjoyed a truly lovely trip this week to Brimsmore Gardens, The Gardens Group . The Christmas display was absolutely magical... sparkling lights, beautiful decorations, and a wonderfully festive atmosphere that our residents adored. ✨

After exploring all the stunning Christmas décor, we finished the outing with a delicious lunch, making the day even more special. 🍽️ 🎄

Yesterday was full of holiday joy as our residents and staff came together to celebrate Christmas Jumper Day in the most festive way! 🎅🎶
The amazing Phoenix Choir graced us with a beautiful performance, filling the air with the sounds of the season. 🎤🎵

There was something extra special about seeing so many of our residents and staff in their sparkling Christmas jumpers, adding to the festive spirit! 🧑‍🎄❤️

The residents loved joining in for a sing-along and enjoying delicious drinks and mince pies. 🍷🥧

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas Bingo Night, filled to the brim with joy, laughter, and festive spirit. Residents, staff, and families all came together to enjoy a Christmassy evening of bingo, bright smiles, and heartwarming moments. 🎅 🎄

The room was buzzing with excitement as everyone played for some lovely prizes, and our Christmas raffle added an extra dash of fun to the night. 🎁✨

We’re kicking off the season on 1st December with a joyful Christmas sing-along, a perfect way to celebrate and get into the holiday mood together! 🎶🎅❄️

Last week, our residents were delighted by a fantastic performance from the wonderful singer, Kelly. Everyone had a great time singing along and engaging with her throughout the session! 🎶💛

A special highlight was seeing John dancing with one of our lovely staff members, such moments made the day even more magical and full of smiles. 🕺😊

On Remembrance Day, our residents gathered for a commemorative service to pay their respects to those who fought for peace.

We were honoured that our resident John delivered the Exhortation, leading us all in hearing the Last Post and Reveille, and observing the two-minute silence. Tammy then recited the moving poem, In Flanders Fields.

Following the service, residents chose songs to sing together, including We'll Meet Again, The White Cliffs of Dover and It's A Long Way To Tipperary.

We were delighted to welcome Pepper Pot Shop with their autumn collection, the perfect chance for our residents to browse, pick up a few treats, and see if they needed anything new for the season. 🧣👜

Even better, it gave everyone a lovely opportunity for friendly chats and laughter together. It was such a warm and enjoyable afternoon, leaving smiles all around! 😊✨

Congratulations to our wonderful kitchen team for the recent Outstanding rating during our catering health check 👏

In addition to the mandatory food hygiene inspection ratings carried out by the Local Authority, we also carry out our own in-house kitchen assessments throughout our care homes to ensure that we continue to meet the highest health and safety standards 👨‍🍳🍴

🎃👻 What an amazing Halloween party we had at Cooksons Court on Friday! Our staff went all out with their creative costumes, and the residents absolutely loved seeing everyone's outfits. It was a spooktacular occasion filled with fun and laughter! 👏🕷️

We had such a fantastic time celebrating Halloween before the half-term with our wonderful residents and visiting nursey children! 👻✨

Together we enjoyed decorating cupcakes, playing games, and singing songs, filling our home with laughter, smiles, and plenty of festive spirit. Halloween goodie bags packed with treats enjoyed by all! 🍬🧡

It was a truly heartwarming day, and we’re so grateful for the joy and connection shared across generations. 🥰
