If you work in care, healthcare or support roles, our Moving of People & Basic Life Support (BLS) open course is a great opportunity to build confidence, protect yourself and provide safer care.

As we head towards the Christmas break, we just have one small update to our January open course schedule to share:

📅 January 2026 – Course Change
👉 19th January has been changed from Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) to Paediatric First Aid (PFA)

All other January course dates remain unchanged.

Pet First Aid Course❤️‍🩹🐾

We’ve had a lovely day teaching a Level 3 Pet First Aid course to a wonderful group of animal lovers. We were lucky enough to use the amazing facilities at Mind in Somerset to deliver this course.

We also had the debut of having our little assistants with us. Nessa (black lab) and Twm (chocolate lab) came with us to show how practical elements can be done with real life animals. Nessa showed off her muzzle skills, and we had a chat about why it’s important to condition our dogs to muzzles and the different types that are suitable (not all dogs wearing muzzles are aggressive!). Our lovely boy Twm helped to show off the use of a triangular bandage as an emergency muzzle as well as being an excellent dog to perform basic bandaging on. This is only a fraction of the content covered in our course. The dogs behaved impeccably, and enjoyed having a nap whilst we delivered the course and we think Ness may have been communicating with some last residents👻

We thoroughly enjoy teaching Pet First Aid. It’s a chance to be able to give people the confidence to help their animals in an emergency situation. Anything is better than nothing! If you’re interested in finding out more, please get in contact with us❤️‍🩹🐾
