Old School Medical Practice We are a part-dispensing Practice based in Copmanthorpe. The Practice area is large, mainly rural and serves approximately 7500 patients.

There are 3 male and 4 female Clinicians.

Nimbuscare's blood‑taking service remains available by appointment, in addition to the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust drop-in service being offered at the same location.

If you choose to book your appointment with Nimbuscare, you will be able to:

There is no need to collect blood forms in advance unless the request is from the Hospital, in which case they will provide you with the form.

Please be aware that on Tuesday 5th August our car park will be closed for two days. Our new bicycle shelter is being installed and the closure has been requested by the installation team for safety reasons. If you are attending surgery during this time please be aware of the above. Patients with mobility issues can be dropped outside surgery. Please park considerately during the closure. If assistance is needed please ask at reception.

Transport update!
We have been informed that York Wheels have now renewed their contract with the Integrated Care Board! This means their provision of transport for those patients that are unable to access Copmanthorpe Surgery is now open for bookings again.

Now our extension is finally ready…we move on to the next phase! All existing clinical rooms, toilets, reception area and the waiting room will be refurbished over the next two months. Our waiting room is now closed off but we have provided seating for patients in a few areas.

Work on the waiting room, main corridor and reception area will be done at weekends. We are also replacing all windows. This is perhaps the most disruptive phase for our team so please be patient with us..we are nearly there!
