Greg has supported me throughout my sobriety journey and after a while he decided to join me…

Greg is 1000 days sober today, absolutely amazing! The change in him has been beautiful to watch. His fitness levels, motivation, physique, mental strength and compassion have all grown so much. What’s not to love about a husband who supports you and joins you on this path to a better, healthier life ❤️

Sunday morning….

Hot yoga class done, then up and at it, shopping in town with my daughter, no one else about, no hangovers here 👋🏻

How much time have you lost by being hungover?

I would hate to add up the hours the old me spent in bed feeling rubbish, going through the parts of the previous evening that I could remember…. 🤔

I love sober me ❤️
I would not go back to drinking now
I have learnt too much and grown too much as a person

I am stepping back from my sobriety page and groups for a while as I feel the need to preserve my energy

I am super passionate about sobriety, the health benefits, how it amplifies your life and radiates out of you like sunbeams. I will always be available for people who want to chat things through, and I understand how important connection is when tackling sobriety

However for now I am focusing on me

There have been times when I have been zapped of energy when people question my choices. When others make judgement on my life, both past and present when they have never lived my life, nor will they experience my present or my future

So for now I am going to do me ❤️🩷

Now that’s crazy!!!

I was drinking full bodied bottles of red wine when I decided to stop drinking 🍷

Plus I always used to say that “life was too short to drink cheap wine”

Had I continued…..

Well for one I don’t think I would be here to tell the tale 😳

However if by some miracle I could have continued drinking at that rate, look at how much it could have cost me!! 😳
